    Cars Blinker Fluid?

I had to put a couple of front turn signal bulbs in my jeep today.
I told the guy at the auto parts store that I needed 2 turn signal bulbs for the front turn signals on my jeep and gave him the year and model. He looked at me and said "head lights?"
I repeated the information and told him that they had to be the colored or amber bulbs. He handed me 2 clear bulbs. I repeated the information again, he said that he "didn't see the 'a' (which stands for amber) on his computer screen". I finally was handed the proper bulbs.

I know that what he does is not a high pay type of job, but he was the manager. This happens a lot, people aren't 'into' what they do for a living and put little effort into doing a decent job.

So, my question is this: Should people who work this way be paid more so that they care, or, should they care so that they get paid more?

Some people never move from the computer screen, have no idea what they have in stock.

What makes you think he should be paid more? Hopefully with experience he'll get better.

P.S. I liked your thread heading. It caught my attention and I had to see what it was about.
