He said the White House "might" be burned down by who knows what
and Trump becomes very strong Hitler like figure ...

That is an interesting prediction about the White House might burn.

The View is far left. They just endorsed in that video the allegations against William Kavanaugh that are obviously a Hail Mary trying anything possible to block the Supreme Court nominee.

Mr. Kavanaugh is indeed an unwelcome shift to the Right, but that doesn't make him a kidnapper or rapist. The reporter representing the supposed victim of his alleged abuse back in high school was on the radio yesterday, and every time he was asked for anything objective or verifiable, he demurred. It's an obvious ploy and a lie.

I don't like the judge's views, but he's no rapist. This is what makes our politics so shameful. Anything goes. Or not. Why not undermine your credibility while fighting for a lost cause? Sound appealing? Apply within.

Moore has told some truth over time, but he's not afraid to generate his own hysteria. He's doing it with this White House burning mess. Don't buy it.

I have said since Trump was elected that he and his cabal are looking for their Reichstag fire.

The chances of it being a successful gambit become fewer and fewer as the indictments and convictions pile up....and the democrats taking the House in November may effectively block him from being able to manufacture a crisis that would allow him to fully suspend civil liberties and democratic institutions entirely.

Iran and North Korea still provide the best possibilities.

Same thing that happened last time it was burnt to a crisp. Same thing that happens to any building that is burnt down. Rebuild.

Michael goes from overstating to getting it spot on---Dump is the closest we have ever come to an out of control dictator---mostly thanks to the feckless republican congress---
as the feds move in on Dump and his gangsters---I'm more afraid he will attack a country or start a national crisis to divert attention rather than overstating he will be the last president or whatever.

Few Americans here believe me when I say that we went through everything 'Trump' before he became president. Our former prime minister Stephen Harper did virtually everything (except the Twitter thing) that Trump is doing, but on a smaller scale. He, too, was the closest thing to a dictator that Canada has ever had in a prime minister. On Parliament Hill, in his offices, he demanded that his staff refer to the Government of Canada as the 'Government of Harper'.

    I kid you not.

We have no limit on the number of terms a prime minister can serve and we came close to having him for a third term, but he lost the election in the last few weeks. How? He extended the length of the campaign period and increase the campaign spending limits accordingly, knowing that the other parties didn't have as much money as the Conservatives.

Unfortunately for Harper, it backfired and he probably would have won another term if he'd just run a usual election. But, with everything else going on in Canada, he attacked the Liberal party (the main challenger at the end) by editing Justin Trudeau's speeches to say what they wanted him to say. Their most popular edited catch phrase was, "and the budget will balance itself." We weren't stupid. We knew that they had cut out an important part of Justin's speech: "The commitment needs to be a commitment to grow the economy..."

That and the fact that they were obsessed with Justin's hair.
