Ever have a guy confess they like you when it's too late?

So, I just wanted to kno if anyone has ever experienced liking a guy (st8) who admitted the liked you but after it was too late.

I'll give u an example. This dude I liked for two years and hung out with non-stop finally told me he liked me but only after I had decided to move on with my life and began to spend much less time with him.

Looking back if I could do it again I probably would have made it work, but at the time I really felt like things weren't gonna go anywhere.

Today, we talk every once in a while but more recently I have been thinking about him a lot.... Stupid right?

Anyone else ever experience this? Ever have a guy confess they like you when it's too late?

Let me get this straight. Did he say he "liked you" liked you? Or did he REALLY like you? Friends like each other. It's normal. What exactly did he mean?

I've been openly gay since I first went to uni; heck, I moved away to be "gay." Though, I'm not flaming, I've told just about anybody that would listen. Any who, I'm missing a digit on one of my fingers, because I need one to count all 11 of my so-called straight friends that have expressed an interest and/or curiosity ... of course, after we've moved states away from one another. lol Such is life.

Yes, my boyfriend God-brother(Their moms are close friends) confess that he wanted me. But the thing is, he's straight and I'm dl. We were close friends before I met my boyfriend. Then he decided to look through his phone is that's how he found out about me. It's kind of weird knowing that he wants me and I'm with his brother.

i was out during highschool, possibly the only out guy in the entire school. i was hopeing that closetted guys would approach me if they knew im gay. no such thing happened.
last year, i hooked up with a guy i kinda-sorta knew back then, but he wasnt out. it was just alright. then he said he already had a crush on me during high school. i didnt say anything, but i have to say i resented him a little. it would have meant so much to me if i had known another gay guy in high school, one who was into me no less. i know its not entirely fair, im sure he had his own stuff to deal with, but i cant help but feel a little resentful.
