No, I haven't yet. For one thing, I am an amateur on the internet and afraid I would mess up, for another thing I haven't thought of anything I want to post, and finally I'm not sure how I would take the replies I would get.

Years ago I made alot of threads on other boards but in the past five years I rarely make any threads. I have gotten down to only making Walking Dead threads on this one board....and sometimes I make a spiritual or paranormal type thread on this other board....

I used to make alot of political threads but I burned myself out long ago. The nice thing about this board...someone always says what I am thinking so I rarely even have to comment. It is nice. I never had that experience on any other message board with politics. Facebook killed all of the other message boards.

I had to check...I have only made one thread here.

One turned into an 8-page shitstorm, because I made the mistake of using the word "old" in the title and that inexplicably became the focus of the thing. Bulls, red flags etc.

I have, and always felt it was a mistake as I hit the submit button.

Not for anyone's lack but my own. I just don't have the time and dedication it takes to properly maintain a thread/topic.

I leave that up to those who are much better at it - and should probably thank them, too.

actually the no.1 formula to make a hit thread is by "engaging your audience" asking: what would you do? Just like Bender does..in each of his thread ^^

The last time I had hit thread..was the "God Im so hating pitbull//thread"
all mainly because of Giancarlo's contributor..I must say

and maybe because that's one thread that shows my unrealistic bias towards pitbull unashamedly
so it was went through..5 pages I think

conflict is necessary in the making of hit thread- (usually) so trolls aren't always bad whether you want to be identified with them/not (I choose noh..)

I try to stay away from starting threads lol. I have only started one recently - it was for the first season of Big Brother Canada. But I guess it's too difficult for people outside of Canada to watch - it didn't garner nearly the attention that the American version does lol

I've started 73 threads. One has over 24,500 replies, so I guess that one is my most successful, even though I haven't posted in it (or even looked at it) in years. I tend to let others choose the topic of conversation.
