Christianity, Satanism, and the magic of nature

I was going through some notes before and was reminded of this ex-Satanist who reveals things about Satanism, and how this belief system relates to Christianity which it rebels against. They are like two sides of a coin so to speak. I will get to what I mean about the 'magic of nature' after I summarize from my notes what this guy, Mark Passio has to say about these two worldview, Christianity and Satanism--which really share the same worldview:

Mark Passio says he was brought up as a Catholic, but was to come to realize his need for spirituality was abused by this fear-based and mind-controlling belief system. It is a systems which makes its believers be contained in a box, and all consciousness and perception especially as to what is happening outside that box is forbidden. So may who feel this abuse and confinement are therefore seduced by what is being claimed to be outside the religious box---the highly organized satanic network.

The Satanic philosophy claims that human nature is naturally "animalistic" and horrible, and has always been, and this means we should embrace our "true nature" and learn how to control others who deserve to be abused because they are weak, So look! BOTH organized religion and Satanism agree that human nature is naturally sinful, but whereas the former will claim we can change it through "God's Grace" if we obey their rules, the Satanists wallow in what they believe is their selfish behaviour and seek to use it to their advantage at the expense of others.


So this is the toxic 'game' agoing on isn't it?

So then what do I mean by the magic of nature? Well I disregard both THAT worldview shared by Christianity and their Shadow, Satanism, and rather see Nature, other species, our bodies, sexuality, as sacred. And that by looking into this---openly questioning reality without fear, or presumption about it-- we begin opening up to the magic of nature. NOT being caught in presumptions about nature and our natures like such myths as described, but an open-minded loving embrace of the Mystery we are living dying and regenerating in.

This is from The Satanic Bible, and it is clear to how how it is in re-action to Christianity's demands:

Prologue

The prologue to The Satanic Bible begins by discussing the concept of gods, good and evil, and human nature. It includes the Nine Satanic Statements:

Satan represents indulgence, instead of abstinence!
Satan represents vital existence, instead of spiritual pipe dreams!
Satan represents undefiled wisdom, instead of hypocritical self-deceit!
Satan represents kindness to those who deserve it, instead of love wasted on ingrates!
Satan represents vengeance, instead of turning the other cheek!
Satan represents responsibility to the responsible, instead of concern for psychic vampires!
Satan represents man as just another animal, sometimes better, more often worse than those that walk on all-fours, who, because of his "divine spiritual and intellectual development," has become the most vicious animal of all!
Satan represents all of the so-called sins, as they all lead to physical, mental, or emotional gratification!
Satan has been the best friend the church has ever had, as he has kept it in business all these years![42]

The Nine Satanic Statements outline the basic ideology of LaVeyan Satanism, and have become some of the guiding principles of LaVeyan Satanism. They also served as a template for later publications by LaVey, such as his 1987 "Nine Satanic Sins".[26] Rand's influence on LaVeyan Satanism is very apparent in the Nine Satanic Statements, to the point where some, including Schreck, assert that the Statements are simply unacknowledged paraphrase of Rand's thoughts.[18] here

Wasnt Anton Levay just a carnival act/circus performer and was just about "show" and "theatrics" and not a real satanist? I heard he was a joke to true satanists.

So Levayan Satanism is essentially elevating the self to godhood.
I can see how it would be appealing, however..

It's a rather cold way to look at society, all of us simply creatures of pleasure and pain.
In a way its very much like capitalism. People acting out of self interest and self preservation.

I think that Satanism which is of the same ilk as Luciferianism is a lot older than Anton Lavay's Church of Satan, and I think that this mode of belief is in direct re-action to the Christian belief, though BOTH share the same worldview. They are like Tweedledee and Tweedledum:


Tweedledum and Tweedledee
Agreed to have a battle;
For Tweedledum said Tweedledee
Had spoiled his nice new rattle.

Just then flew down a monstrous crow,
As black as a tar-barrel;
Which frightened both the heroes so,
They quite forgot their quarrel.[1]


So with Christianity the imagery is of a 'God' on 'His' Throne lording it over his creation and creatures, including us. But the rebellious son, the Satanist does not want that, and so destroys his big-daddy-God, and then believes that he himself can become God, or already is God, and then if anyone gets in his way he has the right to crush them, just like 'God' did/does in the biblical myth. So in other words, the Satanist still believes in that myth but this time applies it for himself.

ALSO, very secular culture has done the very same! Via science it has dropped the 'hypothesis of God' because it is of no use, and now sees 'Man' capital M as taking over the previous role of God---although by 'Man' they mean the 'scientific' man who is 'advanced' and 'genetically superior' to other humans it considers inferior.
