Big Brother Canada Season 1!

Hey guys! For those who don't know, Canada has FINALLY decided to do their own Big Brother! It premieres on Feb 27th on Slice (part of Global TV). I know most of you guys are American - not sure if you'll be able to watch it at all, but I hope so! So I figured I would start a thread about it.

I hope there is enough interest (and people who can watch) to keep this thread alive lol.

I know they show episodes of everything on globaltv.com, however I am pretty sure for people outside of Canada it comes up saying you can't watch it (similar to everything on CBS's site for me lol)

So far I'm enjoying it. Although I hope that nothing else gets added to Wednesday's line up. Between Supernatural, Arrow, Survivor, and Big Brother I got absolutely nothing accomplished last night.

There is one gay 100% for sure. There is another guy who I am pretty sure is gay, so it should be interesting! I am very surprised with the quality of the house and the production! It's not ultra-cheesy like most Canadian versions of shows hahaha.

i hate tom, but he does the hot douchey guy so well, and i like emmett too, really surprised that tom used the veto on gary just to prove that he is loyal to him. i dont understand why tom would do that when he has a strong 4/5 allaince. i love how everyone is already making plans to get out of the allaince.

from reading feed highlights the power just went to his head by winning the veto the first week then hoh and veto again and he got really cocky, and people just didnt like that.

also i just think hes just a really mans man, and it doesnt come off too well for people, cause aj and andrew are older and emmett is more down to earth and stuff.

the whole house is walking on eggshells because they are gonna tell ppl to vote tom only about a half hour before eviction so he doesnt have a chance to blow up quattro or the shield. they definatly have topaz, suzette, peter and alec, they just need one more, its probably going to be talla

sadly no Male nudity in the show always lacks. The ray of hope is that sooner or later everyone stops giving a shit and starts walking around naked, which actuelly happens a lot and that is where 90% of the male nudity comes in

I don't like how they set up Topaz like that, letting the others see and hear her conversation with the host. They shouldn't have done that anymore than they would show what people say in the privacy of the diary room. She should have nominated Emmett and Jillian for eviction in my opinion. It would have been better to break up that alliance and get a strong person out.

i do agree that they kind of treated topaz wrong, but they would have done that to anyone, i think they wanted to just spice up the game a bit, but as peter said why would you talk out loud with camera and mics everywhere.

it looks like she staying this week anyway as ppl are targeting gary, but yes she should have put up jill and emmett, but she was scared of a veto, if she knew there wasnt a veto she probably would have put them up.

anyone else having Andrew as their guilty pleasure? I was always into older, pale hunks and since the eye candies of this season Alec and Emmett somehow ruined themselves for me based on their personality and game play I am soooo rooting for him to win. He's clearly the good guy this season that never lied to anyone and still makes it quite far based on winning competitions. AND him being such a DILF is a plus too.

At first gary annoyed the shit out of me.... as the season progressed and I got used to him, I grew to like him quite a bit. Not someone I could be best friends with or anything, but I definitely have HUGE respect for him for completely being himself. Huge kudos to him for that.

yea, that was an insane finale, and when you watch the footage back, you can see that she pulls jills card otu and leaves gary's, i think she was too caught up in the glitz and glam, and her voting comment was directed at jill, so she might have been thinking about her, Gary is surprisingly ok with it though, he wasnt about the money, hes still good with topaz. hes a way better person than me lol
