I have notice that some men here will glorify the act of sleeping with a married man, like it's a badge of honor, that they will wear with pride. How fucked up is that? And also since I am on the subject. What would you do if you find out that a female friend or family member, or hell even a female stranger, was being bamboozled into marrying a gay man? No, it's not cool (to me, at least). But at the same time...you can't stop people from doing what they're going to do. It's not illegal, and there's really nothing you can do about it.

And Medusa is not all bullshit here. There have occasionally been guys on this site speaking about sleeping with married men as if it's something to boast about. She didn't pull that out of thin air.

I personally disagree. This viewpoint shifts more of the blame than is fair onto a party that didn't take or break any vows.

Like I said there are only two people responsible for a marriage, the people in it.

The way I see it you have already cheated when you want to cheat. The cheater is the one who breaks his promise and the third wheel is just the flesh he uses to break it. If I say no because he's married then honestly I don't think it makes any difference. He's still a married guy who wants to cheat despite me saying no.

I don't seek married men but at the same time it's not a deal breaker for me when it comes to sex. I'd never get romantically involved though.

If I was married I'd have no problem with people hitting on him. I want him to be faithful because the chooses to and can resist temptation, not because he lacks the opportunities. Some people even ask a friend to hit on their husband or wife as a test (I wouldn't do that though because that means I don't trust him.)

first of all, i dont believe in karma, or heaven and hell, or "cosmic justice" of any kind. so there.

secondly, all my serious relationships are open to some extent.

thirdly, if he still cheats on me, i direct my anger at him, not the guy he cheated with. he is the one who broke his promise and betrayed my trust, after all. the other guy, why should i care about him?

I've always thought that was strange. When somebody finds out their partner cheated, they sharpen their claws and go after...the third party. Why not the partner? If you're in a monogamous relationship, you shouldn't be telling the world "hands off my partner". You should tell your partner "hands off the world".
