Sorry to hear the relationship didn't work out. Breaking up is never pleasant, no matter how brief the relationship. You'll both get over it in time. For now, I think Fuji's on to something. You should probably take a breather from dating and such and work on figuring yourself out and what you really want and need in a relationship.

no dont worry! i deleted my ex off of facebook because of course he pulled the "but i still wanna be friends" -- i tried contacting him once or twice and he never replied so basically, fuck him, thats what i think.

I know! exactly my point! but he wanted to label it as such like right off the bat and initially, i agreed. but then i just felt almost claustrophobic in the situation because after just meetin each other, he wanted me all to himself.

Better that you did it now, than later. Would have been a lot worse for both of you if you let it drag out and pretend things were OK.

As has already been said, but just to reiterate - Next time, don't rush into it. Take the time to feel things out and make sure it's what both of you want.

Honestly can say, a couple of weeks is not going to be enough time to make such a decision to commit. Learned that the hard way myself.

But it's good that you still have an open line of communication and that you're willing to be friends. THAT is very important and will help you both get through the difficulties of calling it quits so suddenly.
