In each of their major trips in the past, at least some of the scenes wound up on acm (but not DownUnder, nor three Amigos). I think it will be a good measure of what value cf places on their subscribers.

As a separate example, having now become enamored with Quinn (based on his acm scenes), I find he has four scenes on cfs that I would like to see. But I'm not willing to spend $20 to see four videos. If I'm going to spend $20-25 on gay porn, i'm more apt to go try a month of Helix or cockyboys where I've got a whole library of videos to try for the same amount of money. When Corbin asks me to pull out my credit card and spend real dollars to download one video, I'm going to consider what else I might purchase on a video by video basis. I have to say pretty much since CFS came along, I have felt pretty hard done by. Admittedly, the first half of 2012 was for ACM, but the second half I felt was pretty poor. I don't get excited by seeing the guys used on the ACM roster, as we haven't had time to 'get to know them'. Guys such as Tyson for example, did two scenes over on ACM, and then off to CFS. It appears that cf doesn't like to say anything in their "publicly available" marketing materials that works against the statement that "most of our guys are straight". In the case of the models, cf would rather keep people guessing. The word "gay" does not seem to be the cf vocabulary. For example, in the corbinscampus web site the only two uses of the word gay are: 1) in a recent blog entry Lucas mentioned that he attended a gay wedding, which he found interesting; and 2) when they introduced the cf owned gay.xxx web site. On the main web site about the only place the word "gay" is used is in the news section (e.g. xbiz gave cf an award for the best gay porn web site, and cf regularly gives donations to Equality Florida). The meta data for all the web sites have the word gay used all over the place to drive search engines for users looking for gay porn, but that's only visible if you look at the page source for each web page. Many businesses put a spin on their marketing materials so I don't have a problem with it, although it's kind of humorous given the nature of their product. It would be interesting to see how many other gay porn sites do the same thing.

Before they moved to Tampa, FL, there were more gay/bi models, but I don't remember them specifically labeling them, only mentioning that they were into [fucking] guys or even each other. Only right before the move to FL and the change to "mostly straight guys..." did they completely drop any insinuation of any of their models being into other guys. The wish and idea on wanting to seem them having sex together came from the CF directors themselves, i.e. CF Education.

What has happened at CF is that they've painted themselves into a corner by refusing to be open about being a GAY porn studio. In fact, similar to Bel Ami, which doesn't use the term 'gay' to my knowledge either, though letting their models openly admit about being attracted or lusting for each other, CF would consider themselves more of an all-male porn company, although they can't since they do have straight and bi content presently. Good question. I know that they're acting, but I want to be left to my fantasies that these are the guys that I knew in high school (not quite 60 years ago) who just happened to decide they wanted to fool around in the shower after a football game. I watch some BTS vids, but usually avoid them because it ruins the fantasy for me. There's a difference between acting and modelling, even in porn. The reason we sometimes call porn models "actors" is because back in the days porn was more plot-driven. Nowadays, porn is more of a showcase (A and B tag C, X fucks Y, etc.) within a themed surrounding and if there's some acting involved, it's usually very arbitrary (artsy-fartsy, mind you) and reminds me of my film school days.

The guys in porn today are more so porn personalities (as beautifully coined by Zak Spears in a late 90s porn showcase video he starred in). They usually play a persona of themselves, even when featured in a scripted scene. The same happens on CF, SC and other online studios. The guys take on a stage name and with the studio's help take a position and throughout their porn career they add more and more to their repertoire - just as you do in your personal sex life. IMO your assessment is correct. You should join the site for a month if only for the Pete's Attics. Some of the "models" are totally charming and you'd sometimes be surprised by which ones they are.

CF should consider making the PAs free content. I have several times changed my opinion about models after listening to their PAs. I think the interviews and commentaries would be a great tool to induce people to buy the videos referenced in the PAs. For example, if you listen to Cameron on the podcast, if you had never seen one of his videos, how could you not then join CF and get some of his videos?
