Seems they're now forcing a new layout again to adapt it to Google+.
I do not want recommendations mixed up with my subscriptions. I want to be able to delete them though.

The new layout stinks! I was trying to find the tab where you could see previous videos from the user and I couldn't. Sigh. If its not broke don't fix it.
I don't like it either.
The new layout is atrocious.

Where'd the cheese go!
And, yes, it's an atrocious layout.

YouTube needed a new UI update and it looks nice, clean, and fresh, but, more importantly: how do you use it? I've run across several channels I want to subscribe to by e-mail notifications when new videos are uploaded and I have no idea how to do it.
Anyone?
"Rarely do we find men who willingly engage in hard solid thinking. There is an almost universal quest for easy answers and half-baked solutions. Nothing pains some people more than having to think.'' - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Firstly, Subscriptions. I HATE that when you click My Subscriptions on the left side, they're listed and not in a grid. There appears to be no way of swapping this. HOWEVER, if you use the old method of going to the dropdown menu in the top right and choosing My Subscriptions, you get new videos in the grid pattern!
To manage your subscriptions, choose the My Subscriptions on the left. At the top of the centre panel is 'Manage *** Subscriptions'. This allows you to choose email notifications or show in feed, and can be adjusted for each channel.![]()
Again, choose My Subscriptions on the left and then click on the user. At the top of the centre panel, you'll see a red line under 'All Activity' and a faint grey 'Uploads Only'. 'All Activity' shows vids they've uploaded, favourited, added to playlists etc. Click on 'Uploads Only' and you'll get what it says - only videos that they've uploaded.
The problem I noticed today is that if you post several comments in 5 minutes time it will ask you for "captcha" confirmation as if you were spamming. Weird huh? The ads are incredibly annoying and they often run the same ones (get a fucken rotator that works)
Youtube shows ads?
For the first time, and only since the new layout, I got a captcha telling me I watched too many videos.
^Yes, and emailing a complaint to them results in spam! Google really fucked up on that deal....
