Yes. It's true that business people have been demanding more socialism for the wealthy. Even more than the Republicans have been inclined to give them over the past 30 years.

They want the government to support them with defense contracts. They want their taxes cut, so that they may live off the dole provided by average Americans. They want average people to bail them out when they prove incompetent at managing their businesses. They don't think they should be expected to carry their own weight.

It's true that Mitt's radical socialist agenda would have benefited the very rich (like Mittens himself) substantially. But that would not have done "a much better job on the economy." America cannot afford these freeloading rich socialists. They are dragging down our economy. If America is to compete, we need everyone who is able to contribute to the common good to do so.
