It's a lot warmer, year-round, in Sacramento, CA than it will every be in Edinburgh, Jason.

Then there's my part of the country - beautiful Upstate NY - of course, we're crazy enough to enjoy snow and a change of seasons - as long as Winter doesn't hang around too long -

Yellow is a warming colour - generally anti-depressive.

I know this from studying colours a lifetime ago.

Blue can lower blood pressure, cools.

Red raises BP, aggression levels a bit - or can.

Greens tend to be neutral, as is basic boring beige.
