Here in San Francisco, I've noticed lately that a lot of guys are out jogging in 1980s era short running shorts.

I don't believe I was the one who actually started the trend toward the shorter look, but back in 2011, I had several pairs of worn out jeans I wanted to make into cut offs.

So I cut the legs off a little bit over 1/2 way up from the knees and I've been wearing them in public for over a year now.

Since then, I've noticed other guys are doing the same.

Let's hope the trend gathers more steam!!!

I haven't been to the other large cities in California, but it's a sure bet if there's a major jogging or running trail, you'll find a lot of guys out in 1980s marathon shorts just like in San Francisco.

so glad SHORTS are actually coming back- all those years of guys with 'shorts' half way down their calves- AWFUL!!! Thighs are so freakin hot- they should be seen!
