The color looks about right. What is off is the contrast/brightness imo.
This image is hard to match because in the body pic the light is coming from the back while the face's light is coming from the front. I like the way the face looks so I would make most of the changes to the body. Not sure you are ever going to get a 100% match simply because of the lighting differences and the differences in picture quality between the two.
Decided to fiddle with it myself. Hope you don't mind. I assume you are using photoshop.
What I tried was to increase the
brightness of the body a bit (make sure not to go overboard....do not compare to the neck....sit back and look at the whole body). Then I looked at the face and saw that it has a red tinge that the body lacks. Using the
color balance tool I tried increasing the red of the highlights somewhat (+12).
Another difference I noticed was that the face has some nice deep blacks while the body does not. So using the
selective color tool I increased the blacks (make sure to change it to blacks from the default reds in the drop down menu then use the bottom slider) 100% for a subtle improvement.
I went back to the face and decreased its
contrast a little bit to help hide the difference in shadows. To correct the color distortion I then increased it
vibrancy a little. I also increased its brightness slightly.
At this point I liked the way they matched but had some problems with the end result.
I then decided that the whole image was a bit dull overall so I went and increased the
contrast of the body AND the face. I decided it was far too yellow so using the
Color Balance tool I used the yellow/blue slider to change the highlights on the face and body and I really liked the results.
(this got a bit convoluted as I went. I can make a video of the changes if you would like)
Here was the final pic I ended up with after the above changes. Because of the lighting its not perfect but I like it. hope that helps
