The band that has been getting pretty big lately One Direction. I found out that they are all over 18, the youngest barely turning 18 a month ago.



I don't know, there is something about two of them that I find attractive for some reason.

Definitely agree. Harry is too arrogant for me. Same goes for Liam, he seems really stuck up too, but he's hot.
But Louis (second from the left) ...wow. He is really attractive. He wears the chino's and suspenders really well.
Zayn and Niall also do it for me. Zayn and his looks and Niall is just too cute for words, especially his smile.
Wonder if they'll age well...

I'd never heard of them at all until I was watching AMTV one night and saw their video "What Makes You Beautiful"... now I see them and hear about them everywhere. I like their song and I think they're all cute!!

I know some folks who run some really popular ID blogs that say they've basically gotten confirmation of it from folks immediately close to the two... Not to mention the boys' mothers on twitter have basically "wink winked" at it when asked. A number of fangirls have said they've personally seen the boys hold hands, sit on each others laps, and be affectionate in ways that are clearly romantic...and the boys are supposedly getting less concerned about hiding it. But they never really did...go back and watch the early X factor stuff. From what I hear, their management is going crazy because they want to market them big in the American market...and we all know how the sexuality thing works out here.

Harry has been linked with several women, there was a very public breakup just a few weeks ago. It's also widely known he likes cougars. Not saying he might not enjoy guys too, but saying he and Louis are a couple is stretching it. Teen guys today act like that with each other.

Furthermore, I think we've progressed to the point where boybands can have out singers without it causing them damage. If anything it would add to their fanbase. There are tons of out singers in the UK (both solo & boybands) and they are all doing just fine. In fact, most of the pop acts in the UK seek out the gay fans by regularly appearing in gay magazines and preforming at gay clubs. 1D was at the G-A-Y club last year. So, if any of them were gay, I don't think they'd be hiding it.

I hate to tell you but this may be the boyband apart from JLS where they are all straight. If any of them is going to "come out" a few years down the line it will be Liam.

But due to the policy with Will Young/Joe McElderry etc of getting it out of the way at the start of their career. I think we would have heard by now.
