Is it likely that they share the views of their church? Yes. But despite their religious affiliation, I've never heard of Nick or his brothers making any anti-gay comments or supporting any specifically anti-gay causes, so I'm not going to make assumptions about them.

My best friend is a hardcore Conservative Christian who has absolutely no problem with my homosexuality. Does he think homosexual acts are sinful? Yeah, he does. But in his own words,

"Dude, I sin every day. So does my Pastor. So does the freakin' Pope. It's called being human. If everyone who sinned went to Hell, Heaven would be a lonely place. There's no line separating homosexuality from any other sin."

Now he does think I'm going to hell for not being a Christian, but that's another matter entirely. The point is that people don't necessarily espouse every single belief held by their church. And until the Jonai give me ample cause not to, I'm going to think the best of them.
