The rain has left leaving a freshly washed landscrape. Only 59F now and 79F for the high today. Maybe summer is finally over, but it can attack again as this is the desert.

In my building, it's an old boiler system, so it has to be manually put on... Last night was the first night that warranted such a turn on... So 5-6 month of dry heat to go!!!

I just learn of a very sad news: one of my high-school buddy passed away last June... All his adult life was an on-going battle with bi-polar disorder and drugs use... He spent the last year of his life in shelter for homeless people... He is the second one that I lose this year...
