As before, most of the erotica is in anthology form. “Hard” is a novel, and the “Hormone Pirates of Xenobia and Dream Studs of Kama Loka” are two novellas in one book. I recently discovered that JUB keeps track of the number of times people view an attached picture and I'm posting the top thirteen. Sometimes I had posted only thumbnails, so people had to click on them for a better view, but some were posted full size and could be viewed without anything getting counted, or so I assume. So, the counts here are probably biased.

Fiction!

I found JUB because of my interest in writing gay erotica, so it seems fitting to have a fiction-related post for my first anniversary. I met some of my first and best JUB friends in the stories forum. While words can probably express what those friendships mean to me, I’m not going to try.

Here is some of the fiction I’ve enjoyed. I started out seeking only BDSM-themed stories, but I found I enjoyed reading about vanilla sex, as well as some great stories without much sex.

I went through my list of saved threads and picked out an assortment. There is no implication of relative quality. I haven’t had time to read all the wonderful material in the Gay Stories forum, not even a small fraction of them. There are some longer stories that are very popular and I regret not making time for them. My selections tend to be the shorter ones I can read during lunch.

Please leave comments for authors when you read. On JUB overall, feedback is usually from a fraction of a percent of the viewers. While that’s not a big deal in most threads, I think it’s very important to let authors know what you think of their work. Even negative feedback can be helpful (but be nice).

Update: Book report

Best Gay Erotica 1996 (the first in the series) is very good so far. Interestingly, three stories (so far) involve sex with women.

In one case, the woman is pretending to be a man and it works out very well. That story is now a chapter in a book I posted earlier (The Leather Daddy and the Femme). Another involves one man doing something for his partner, in this case, encouraging him to act on his attraction to a female friend. The third involves two marines who end up doing each other after a drunken encounter with local female prostitutes. As typical of stories in the 1990s, at least one other portrays a partner with advanced AIDS.
