How many product placements can you spot on that video? I don't see how this video would qualify as "epic" or an "event". It is pretty much like all the other videos that's out there today. Poor storytelling, bad choreography and over produced. The song is ok, though not as catchy as her last song.

Well, everyone's entitled to their own opinion and preference, but of course the video will stop in the middle it's somewhat like a movie and will complete the story. There's only so much you can do with 9-10 minutes... actually, I cannot name 2 on the top of my head that exceed this time.

Because I'm at a shitty cafe with poor reception I'm only halfway through this video and so far I'm a bit disappointed in the directing, not Gaga, and it's bothering me. The fight scene and Gaga going out with the cigg shades should've been cut, only because the acting was piss poor. This should be a lesson that you should never use your backup dancers or randomly casted folks to "act" in a video that pays homage to one of the best directors in the country. Excluding the fonts (still haven't seen the whole vid), that's the only thing Tarantino I see... well and the pussywagon.

I will write a second opinion after I fully watch it... I hope it changes.

Very true. The lighting in the club would've made a really good Gaga video, it was actually how I pictured it... her and her crazy outfits, too. I think because Beyonce was in the video, she should've pulled one of her epic dances somewhere in there as well.

The joke about Lady Gaga's dick was pretty funny. The costumes and hair/makeup were cool too. Still, I don't think the video is THAT amazing. It's certainly creative, but it's not epic, ground-breaking, or brilliant. It was fairly entertaining, and both Lady Gaga and Beyonce look good in the video, but it's not a video that people will be looking back on years to come.

The outfits and hair and all that stuff was pretty cool. Nothing epic, amazing, or thought-provoking about it though. It kind of seems like she is trying too hard to be original. I prefer the effortless originality of videos by M.I.A., Gwen Stefani, and OK Go. Still, it's entertaining and it will certainly please her fans.

yes the video is entertaining, it has more fun scenes, like the ones in the opening, in prison, but they have to edit the video for tv, because it's too long.
still i don't think this outshines the bad romance video, that video was simple amazing, and is had continuity and the clothes were fantastic,not to mention the Alexander mcqueen jumpsuit and shoes.

I went speechless during 9 minutes and 32 seconds. So that's how you fit in a 3'41"-length song into a long video.

The video is...ridiculously long and doesn't really match the content of the song. While she still reflects her usual style, the video fails to support the idea . To me, the concept itself is absurd enough to blend with the message the song is trying to send. And too many unimportant scene shots! Even Beyonce's appearances are damn weak ("A very, very, bad, bad girl, GaGa."---get real). The things good about the video are only the kitchen and the bar settings---the rest is noise.

She could do much better and save this for another song.

I liked it alot and it was cool to see Beyonce tread in different waters. It was actually comical. Her (Beyonce's) version of telephone sucked. However I think this is a sign that she (B)is possibly trying to change her image and get away from J-Z ? Loved the Betty Paige look and for those that liked the kitchen scene you were just looking at the cute dancers. Futher Gaga's videos never really match the song , in our eyes because there are so many layers . Every time I watch her videos I get a new perspective . Saw her in concert a few months ago in Chicago and she was awesome.

I loved the video. It was fun. What do you guys expect? She is what she is. She really isn't terribly original like some of you think she is. But I like her and her music and find her fun and talented much the in way Cyndi Lauper was in the 80's. Relax and enjoy.

Yeah I loved it. I thought the fashion, the dancing, the story: it was perfection. But to be honest, Gaga could have sat in front of a camera and lip-synced Telephone and I would have loved it. I love everything she puts out.
