So am I! Too bad we have to wait until the fall to see more episodes.

I really like it too! My favorite quote so far: 'I am Beyonce...not Kelly Rowland'.
Surprisingly very funny, some cute guys too.
Maybe we'll get lucky and the audience level will be high enough to provide us with a few more teaser episodes...
I really really like it. I can't wait to download the performances from Itunes.
Well the dialogue was painfully on the nose but I'm hoping that's just because they have SO much exposition. The character arcs happened super fast and without proper emotional movement. That being said I really liked the characters and the set up and it has the kind of quirky humor I like so I'll watch and hope it gets better.
Yeah. Loved the Journey finale. I'm downloading it right now.
OMG that was freakin awesome! I'm a really big fan of Ryan Murphy and this was just awesome... I cant wait for more of this amazing show!
My dearest friend, if you don't mind, I'd like to join you by your side

Wasn't bad. Makes me pine for school days once again....all those hot jocks!
Very enjoyable debut. Kinda reminded me of the movie "Election" with Matthew Broderick-lite at the teacher, Reese Witherspoon-lite as the obnoxious female student, and Chris Klein-lite as the lovable jock with a heart of gold.
LOVED IT! already downloaded the songs..lol.
I totally thought of Tracey Flick from "Election" when the introduced the girl and she was turning the Glee coach in for touching the boy...lol.Very enjoyable debut. Kinda reminded me of the movie "Election" with Matthew Broderick-lite at the teacher, Reese Witherspoon-lite as the obnoxious female student, and Chris Klein-lite as the lovable jock with a heart of gold.

Love Ryan Murphy...Nip/Tuck and Popular were/are fantastic!
so they have viewers at the start of the real season...they build you up with expectations so you'll be anticipating it come the fall season.why do they suck you in 3 months before the real show starts. what a tease
Did anyone else see Miley Cyrus' boyfriend Justin Gaston throughout the show as one of the jocks? Had a nice shirtless scene in the locker room
I'll certainly give it a chance in the Fall.
However I have a low tolerence for schmaltz.
"I'm chanting even as we speak, sweetie!"
really i thought it would start this summer!
I am loving this show. I'm officially a fan and the fall season cannot come fast enough now. Jane Lynch is wickedly funny. She's amazing on Party Down as well.
I really enjoyed it! I actually got the excited tears during the finale! haha
what are those Matthew Morrison pics from?
I enjoyed Mr. Justin Gaston shirtless in the locker room.
Loved it! I can't wait for this show to officially begin.

Loved this show. Hilarious!
Loving this show....and the Boy Candy!

I have to agree, it was a good pilot. Some of the characters need a bit more tweaking since they're too much of a stereotype (specially the black girl)... but overall i think it has great potential. I REALLY hope it doesn't get cancelled.
I should really be doing homework right now...
I saw him with my husband, JD & Seth in A Light In The Piazza at Lincoln Center a few years back. The show was OK, but I remember him being easy on the eyes. Pretty good singing voice, too.
Who dear? Me dear? Gay dear? No dear!
Just watched the show on hulu, and am really excited for it. This show is gonna kill in the fall.
I watched and liked the show. And yes, Matthew is hot!!![]()
We don't stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing
As much as I loved this show, after months of mega-promotion, FOX was disappointed in it's ratings performance . It lost 50% of the Idol audience and then had over 3.5 million viewers peel off from the show over the 60 minutes it aired. However, critics loved it and hopefully it will get alot of favorable press when we head into the fall season.
The show has possibilities even if the premise is far fetched. Plenty of eye candy in this one, boys. Some great voices, assuming they belong to the actors. I hope the evolution is positive.
Aw I love this show, it's cute
I was anti-Fox after learning they canceled Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and for moving Fringe to Thursdays, but this show is great. Damn you, Fox!
Those Rehab guys were cuuuuute!! And so is Finn's asshole friend.
Am I the only one who doesn't care for the guy teacher's story? I find the students way more interesting.
I downloaded the 2 songs on the show on iTunes. I can't believe we have to wait until fall to see the show again.
Whatever happened to that white dog poop from the '70s?
Cant believe I missed the show. I'll be watching it on Fox.com
You can download the pilot episode at Itunes for free.
I did'nt watch "GLEE",but what I do know is it premiered last night, yet it won't be on as a weekly series until August or September 2009.
I liked it a lot! And the cast is pretty great overall for network TV.
I gotta say, I'm a little skeptical about the casting of the main jock guy. 1) I don't find him very cute, 2) I'm not impressed by his singing. Sure, it's realistic for high school (his singing, not some of those others - wow!), but with the legions of young unknowns, I'm sure they could've found as capable an actor with more looks and better vocals. He's pretty similar to the Election jock played by Chris Klein, not just in that "kinda slow but affectionate and caring" personality, but I think they've got a similar look (fair perfect complexions).
Jayma Mays, and COACH SUE!!!, both great of course. Lea Michele is outstanding and we're gonna see a lot more of her.
OK SO WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON WITH THE PICTURES OF THE SPANISH TEACHER ABOVE?? I hadn't seen him in anything before, and didn't expect to see pics of him like THOSE!
AMAZING SHOW. Cory Monteith is GORGEOUSSS
I loved the premiere, and I am going to continue watching. And not just because I think Cory Monteith is hot.

I'm already addicted! Cory Monteith is absolutely adorable.
I've watched the last scene 10+ times, I find Cory sosososo cute. He's not gorgeous, his character just makes him absolutely irresistible.
I thought it was a great show! I hope they are able to keep this one going.
Automatic doors make me feel like a Jedi
I watched Glee and, while I found most of the actors quite cute, I couldn't help but recognize that all the plot lines and jokes were just taken from other movies and TV shows. The pilot started out with "Superbad" (down to the music!) while showing Jane Lynch reprising her character from Role Models. It then moved on to "Election", where each character gets their own voice over and the devote teacher proclaiming his love for teaching while attempting to get the jock into an unnatural school organization which happens to be composed of a Tracy Flick equivalent who talks about her gay dads and how they impregnated a surrogate with both their sperm at once to conceal the identity of the real father despite the fact that one is black and one is white, much like the clever joke first made in "Arrested Development". From there we get a feel for the camera work of "The Office" despite the show not being filmed in a documentary style except for where a sign posted in the teachers office contradicts his actions when blackmailing the jock to join the glee club, where his extreme talent (and ultimate enjoyment) of singing puts him at odds with his jock friends, a suspiciously familiar formula to that of every "High School Musical" movie. Maybe watching too many movies and TV shows has become bad for me as it ruins any show unoriginal enough to incorporate jokes and plot lines from many other sources.
I liked the show - really interesting concept - a musical TV show - and the characters are all likable.
The girl who plays Rachel reminds me of Idina Menzel.
I thought the show was great. The final Journey number was terrific.
The guy who plays the Spanish Teacher is hot!!
Hope this show does better in the ratings in the fall. It's one of the few shows on TV that is actually good. Hope they don't cancel it like most of the shows I like.
Something to look forward to the fall TV season to watch.
I think they have already cancelled the show do to the low viewership.
I enjoyed the show a lot! Hope it remains on the air for several seasons. The guys are hot! they look much older than high school kids. I liked the finale with the Journey song. Finally something decent on TV to watch, on Fox, nonetheless and it's not a reality show.
I'd like to see more regular shows, less reality shows. The reality shows I'm sure are cheaper to produce, but enough already. Mostly stupid dumb reality shows. And they're not reality and they're edited.
Good luck to Glee and if you liked the preview watch it in the Fall on Fox TV so it doesn't get cancelled!
Does anyone have the Justin Gaston pic of him shirtless from the pilot episode of Glee? Please post if you do.
While I highly doubt that it's cancelled already, it was never meant to air season 1 until Fall. I wouldn't be surprised if this ploy blew up in their faces. Dropping off the face of the Earth for all of Summer season it will likely be forgotten by fall and now that they've blown what must have been more than half of their marketing budget before the premiere that's gonna be an issue.
And the whole things was just so they could get the American Idol lead which didn't even help that much. It's dark sarcastic humor that's masked by the bright fuzzy feel likely deterred the 'family' viewers that idol attracts. Maybe had it started with a song and dance number then they could've pulled an idol audience in but people need stick on through to the end. The dialogue wasn't very crisp and most of the episode was in the preview so while I like it I don't think it'll fair well.
I thought it was a good episode...can't believe they're holding out on it til the fall...this would have a great companion show to So You Think You Can Dance?....after hearing "Rehab"...I was hooked......and I just have to see why the hell they were singing Goldigger
BEWARE MY POWER!
Actually, this fall Glee will be televised on Wednesdays at 9pm, following "So You Think You Can Dance".
In regards to the real-life ages of the cast as mentioned earlier, it is indeed odd that the teacher, played by Matthew Morrison is only 3 years older than actor Cory Monteith who plays jock/singer Finn. Morrison is 30 years old and Monteith is 27. Really, the other glee club members aren't that old -- Lea Michelle, who plays female lead Rachel, is 22. The male glee members Kurt (played by Chris Colfer) is 18 and the wheelchair-bound Anty (played by Kevin McHale) is 20.
I was thinking the same thing throughout the whole episode. She'd be a good one for Wicked some day.
I thought the show was funny and pretty strong for a pilot. Rachel did remind me of Tracy from Election, but then they added some more dimension to her character by making her someone who could be empathized with.
Am I the only one who does not find Jane Lynch funny at all? She just leaves me cold--I don't know if I've ever laughed at anything she's done. I'll find it easy to dislike her character when the show begins in the Fall.
