The "gay boy" look is that in which the boy is strutting around in hip-hugger jeans, probably has at least one earring in each ear and probably a toe ring as well. Probably also is always concerned about how his hair looks, it must be perfect at all times. He most likely would not normally wear makeup all over his face, like a girl would, but he probably uses makeup to touch up those "imperfections". He also would be seen wearing t-shirts with gay symbols and the jewelry you can buy in gay oriented stores, such as the rainbow necklaces or a rainbow bracelet.

The "ghetto boy" look refers to those kids that are often seen with their pants hanging down way to low from their waist so that their name-brand boxer shorts can be seen. They wear alot of necklaces, perhaps even some kind of jewelry "enhancement" in their teeth, often referred to as a "grill". They often times are very concerned about keeping their white tennis shoes clean and new-looking at all costs and they often wear name-brand clothing such as K-Swiss tennis shoes and Hilfiger jeans.
