Nothing against Jay-Z, I just don't very much like it when singers have a guest rapper in their song and what they rap has nothing to do with the song. It's just random mumbbling.

Just saw the video and I have to say I really like it, both the song and video. It's really different. I see a little Chicago and definitely a little Basic Instinct in the video and I like it.

Now I'm actually looking forward to her cd. I can't believe I just said that.

That video is HORRIBLE. From the lyrics she obviously doesn't have a shred of sense of what Deja Vu means. Deja Vu is NOT seeing the same person everywhere you go. That's called a *stalker*. And If I had one, best believe I wouldn't be writing a song about it. I'd be writing a police report. And it wouldn't be set to music.
And that God awful horrid video that has not a bit to do with the song. She's in the cornfield, a haunted house, a sauna, a swamp, in the forest. And the dancing at the end...

Beyonce's sophmore album, B'Day, is set to be released on September 5th. A web site claims that the album may be pushed back to give Beyonce more time to work on other songs to possibly include.
Her father and manager, is trying to get Sony BMG to push back the album because he is not satisfied with the end result plus all of the tracks on the album were leaked onto the internet yesterday and basically that shit sucks.

I think family Knowles should just scrap Bee's whole album coz it sucks and this could possibly be her last saving grace. Stop blaming the internet for Christ's sakes... in this day and age every album WILL leak prior to its release come what may!

She only hit #1 on the R&B chart because of the single being released to walmart and other places, which is funny because I never recalled her songs being released on hard copies. It makes you think her record label really wants a #1 summer hit.

Deja vu is a good hit, it just doesn't capture you like her previous hits (baby boy, crazy in love, check on it) do.
On a side note, Deja vu did hit #4 on billboard hot 100, which is the same as her Naughty Boy.

Lmao..Beyonce done lost her marbles. That song, including the new one Ring the Alarm..it's all just horrid. The first time I heard Deja Vu the only thing I thought was WTF. I didn't think it could get any worse. Then I saw the damned video. I died laughing so hard I think I pissed my pants. Chewing gum while she's all up on Jay-Z pulling his belt out...the random running through the field, then at the swamp...then ALL of a sudden she's in the desert taking us back to Africa with some weird ass jiggle-jiggle vibration of the legs in some kind of voo-doo trance. This album will be as bad as Paris Hilton's.

She better be glad she's got Dreamgirls (even though Jennifer Hudson steals the show anyway).

So Ms. Beweavable just premiered her new vid for the single "Listen" from the Dreamgirls soundtrack. The point of the video is to promote the film, right? Well her video does show many incredible dance numbers and great dramatic clips from the film............of her. Anyway, I bought B'day for a friend for his birthday so I can't look at the liner notes of the cd myself so.........I'm wondering if anyone knows who wrote "Listen." Since it's considered a new song for the film it will most likely get nominted for Best Original Song at next year's Oscars. Only the songwriters get to actually take home the statuette so if (and most likely when) "Listen" wins and Beyonce is credited as one of the songwriters she could in effect win an Oscar. listen wrecks n' effect, beyonce is an all out star is all i'm saying...she's got a damn good voice and she's coming along as an actress. when you start out as a singer, the first roles you're gonna get are gonna be as the eye candy or the girlfriend and if you prove yourself, you move on to bigger and better roles like she's doing. cause she's a STAR in every way unlike ms. hudson who has yet to prove shit. so yeah...with love and respect to xyboy, she IS the star of this movie. not ms. fatson, i mean hudson, not eddie murphy not jaime fox...

and britney has not had more hits than beyonce...you put the string of hits starting with destiny's child in '99, beyonce's had about a couple dozen top ten and number one hits, including several as a solo artist. britney's only had about 6 top ten hits...and except for "baby hit me one more time", no number ones...she's great at flashing her cooch and getting media attention but the bitch hasn't had a big hit in five years. even "toxic" was barely a top ten hit.
