If I were an actor, I wouldn't have any problems with doing a hot sex scene with an actress, because it's just acting, not real, and that's my job.

Besides, the sex scene in Brokeback Mountain is so brief that I only see two men holding each other and just moaning a little. The two actors even don't have to see each other's dick.

As I said before, there is nothing to be CREEPED OUT about, because no one was asking him to have gay sex. And seriously, that scene is so damn brief and crappy, it shouldn't have been that big a deal.

You're acting like people are calling him a bigot and putting him the same league as Tim Hardaway or Michael Richards. They're not.

But that doesn't mean his attitude toward gay sex is not offensive.

I find it a bit odd that he was creeped out by that, but he wasn't creeped out by his own scene in Boogie nights where he got into a car and tried to jerk himself off for another guy. Why didn't that scene meet his standards of creepiness?

Good point. He does have a history of being "homophobic" and he could have used a better term. See the difference is that he didn't even mention the kissing. If he had talked about the kissing scenes instead of the sex scene, I would be 90% less disappointed by this comment.

Because the kissing is something he would ACTUALLY have to do. Whereas the sex scene is just pretend.
