^ Would love to have those temps.
Would like to. Being in Florida all my life when you get cooler weather it feels great. Now I would love a cold winter, BUT I do not want it to get below freezing. Causes too much damage with the crops.
How cold do winters usually get in Florida?
The average in the winter is in the 50"s for low and the highs are in the 70's. It sometimes gets in the 30's and I have seen it snow here a few times. The only problem it does not stay around long the ground is too warm. I love it when the highs stay in the 60's. Last year it was a warm winter.
Wow. Didn't think it ever snowed there.
It does sometimes in north Florida. But very rarely does it come this far south. It is a thrill for kids who have never seen snow. I was used to seeing it since our family came from North Carolina and I have seen it there during the holidays. I have even seen it in Hawaii. You can see it on the mountain tops on Oahu.
