Jeans Colors

That would be me! I have a white pair of button-fly 501, and they look dang good on me too!

I have a collection of my favorite Levi Button-Fly; light blue, dark blue (indigo), acid wash, white, and black. One color that I didn't see is burgandy or red. I'm looing for a pair size 32x32, if you know where I can find a pair in that color let me know! Then I have a pair that's wore out in all the right spots.

I'll get back to you on that.I know they did make a burgandy,and I have seen red,but I think they were 550s.I'll ask my Levi's connection in NYC.

I really like the khaki or tans ones alot,really hightlights the um,"area".
I just ordered a pair this morning.

I picked a really bad-ass pair of 80's acid wash 501's off of eBAy. Lightly worn, and priced just right. I usually don't buy "second hand" jeans unless I can try them on, but so far I've been pretty lucky. It seems that Levi markets the color jeans more so outside of the U.S. than in.

There's a Levi "outlet" store in town on the interstate near my farm, but geeze! I may as well go into Dallas and pay full price!

Levi 501 Jeans are the one indulgence that I spend money on when it comes to clothes.

I mean who can argue that they're not a "fashion accessory?"

Indigo/faded boot-cut jeans - although i usually save them for special cases like court hearings and stuff.

Henna color will do,but I don't see our elusive red/burgandy.

Hey Bradlee! I usually have at least one button on each of my "tighter" pair that I have no control over.

The link that you provided above has Khaki and Green! Those are some awesome colors which I will have to ad to my collection.

I've gone thru the "process," but I usually get mixed results. I was told that on some pair of Levi you should buy 2" larger than what you normally wear because they'll shrink that much. Which is one of the reasons that my "white" pair aren't as snug as I would like for them to be.

For some reason the IPOD one never took off,it's been out for a while.

For the process,do you put kosher salt in the water?

No. No salt, or bleach of any kind. The salt tends to tarnish the brass rivets. Bleach weakens the denim.

Just warm water, turned inside out, and a little laundry soap.

If you wash them in hot water it really "tightens" up the denim, but also causes your indigo to fade quicker.
