How often do you change the sheets/pillowcases of your primary bed?
Do you iron the sheets after they out of the drier? You know for that nice crisp feel?

Usually once a week. As for ironing, hell no! I use flannel sheets year round and like to put them on the bed right out of the dryer.
I change mine about every other week. I'm alone, and I don't sleep naked, so I don't see the reason for changing more often. No ironing.
Silly maybe, but I just bought a new bed. Full (double) perfect size for a guy my size. And, I'm pretty well convinced I'll sleep alone for the rest of my life.
If not, it's the perfect guest bed.
It's time to change mine. I need to remind myself to do that tomorrow. :/
I change them when they need it
I never iron anything...
I think around 2002 was the last time.
and it hurts with every heartbeat......
I change my sheets once a week in winter and sometimes twice a week in summer. I do not iron sheets. I try to fold them neatly. I have never got the hang of folding the bottom fitted sheet. If there were a college course in fitted sheet folding, I would be first to entrol. How can you be anal compulsive and not be able to fold fitted sheets into neat squares or rectangles? It is a burden I must bear.
Once a week.
I saw this guy on Oprah (I don't watch her often... usually I'm at work) but there was this guy there talking about the importance of cleanliness and they showed what lives in your sheets after one week of sleeping and it is absolutely disgusting.
If you haven't washed your sheets in a while, go wash them now with bleach in the hottest water possible... *shudders*
Every other Saturday. I don't iron them either. I fold them immediately out of the dryer.
==============
once a week and no ironing....or after some hot sweaty sex....which means once a week....for what seems like years
Weekly. I have to because I have dust mite allergies. If I don't change them within 2 weeks, I'll be sneezing constantly. No ironing though. I don't see the point of that.
Once a week as well.
Sometimes I'll change the pillowcases mid-week.
"Separate... Unique...
Neither can exist without the other."
I change them every Sunday morning. I shower at least twice a day and more often in the summer. If I have company and we make a mess, I will change them the next morning.
Once a week.
Iron? Isn't that a food supplement?
And let's just say I'm getting better at changing my sheets more frequently after all the news stories of bed bugs. I never thought there really were such things.
Hi!
sheets, daily...pillow cases, weekly...ironing, optional
There are people who love command and in their eagerness to assume it they are impatient at the formalities of takingover from someone else. I love command since it is the ideal welding of freedom and slavery. You can be happywith your freedom and when it becomes too dangerous you take refuge in your duty.

Thanks Lord for the Housekeeper.
Everytime, I get up, close and personal with another dude.
Otherwise, twice a week.
All fully ironed and crisp. Nothing like it.
I love my bed.
SC
couple of times a week on average.
At the least once per week
Its nice to know others use flannel sheets year round, I do to. I think they feel warmer in the winter, and in summer just right for a cover!! I don't change my sheets as often as I should, probably every few weeks, since I have to go some place to do laundry, I don't like to pay the extra to do the sheets. The last time thye needed changed, I just went and bought some new ones. Not flannel, but has potential to be comfey!!
Once a week, the pillow cases are another matter.I change them every other day.I love the feeling of fresh cases on my pillows.
Laying in the gutter but looking at the stars
I think mine get changed about 2 times a week.
I don't do it and just kinda notice when Mary has changed them.
To the world you may be one person but to one person you may be the world.
Oh, but he's so cuuuuuuuute!
I change my sheets maybe once a month... well, I notice they need changing about once a month, and then I keep putting it off as long as I can, which is usually until the next weekend but can be up to another month.
For the last ten years, I've only had one set of sheets for my bed, so when my sheets get dirty, I have to wash them before I can make the bed up again. But I just bought a new set of sheets (they're really pretty, too... a color called Starfield Blue), so I can actually change the sheets rather than taking them off and washing them and putting them back on.
This will probably bring my average down to every two or three weeks. Honestly, I don't think they need it more than that... there's no sweating or jizzing or drooling or santorum going on in my bed, so it's not that big a deal.
And ironing? Never! I like the wrinkles, they make me look younger.
* Question the Dominant Paradigm *
Santorum, eh? Didn't know that one!
Hi!
Every other Wednesday (today) because I do the laundry every other Thursday.
I think about every month and a half...perhaps every month. Usually I wash them after I've done 2 loads of laundry with the third load. But if they feel wrong and dirty, time isn't a factor.
Once a week, sometimes twice in sweaty weather in summer. And god they are never ironed!![]()

I don't have sheets, I have a blanket below and above me, I've never liked sheets. At work they make us change them and wash them every Saturday morning. I change my bedding stuff though once they start to kinda smell or the dog hair gets too thick... lol
Once a week...but sometimes more depending on particular bedroom activities.![]()
I usually put them back on the bed once they have been washed and dried. If I am using a different set of sheets, then I'll fold the old ones and store them in the closet.

No less than every 2 weeks. They get uncomfortable after that.
I hate to iron and only iron what I absolutely have to. My iron's laughing right now in the other room at the very thought of it.
Where did you guys find out they should be washed? Is this an old wives tale? When I got them a few years ago I didn't see anything on the label indicating such a requirement. Do you think I could sue the manufacturer?![]()
So how do you take them off the bed anyway? They appear to be stuck.
I change sheets twice a week. Only buy quality sheets with high thread count. I iron everything except the sheets.
You see, you spend a good piece of your life gripping a baseball, and in the end it turns out that it was the other way around all the time.
I'm embarassed to say that I don't change them as often as I probably should--- but I do starch and iron the pillocases (only)--- it's wonderful!
Stone cold sober as a matter of fact.
