Finally, after a decade or more of fighting extradition from the UK, Abu Hamza has been deported to the US. He's tried every court in the land and inevitably the European Court of Human Rights too. Finally, yesterday afternoon, the High Court dismissed a last ditch ruse to stay in the UK and Hamza has been bundled onto a flight to the US where he faces trial.
I hope you guys in the US are as pleased to be getting him as we are to see him go.

Yes, I saw that. It comes to something when even Her Majesty, in whose name all criminal prosecutions in the UK are made, feels that the law is inadequate. Time for the law to be tightened up and all the human rights nonsense to be reviewed IMHO.Quote:

On a serious point, if it proves so legally difficult to remove a foreign national from the country when almost everybody agrees he should go, then there's something wrong with the law.
It appears that Hamza is now in a New York prison and may even have been made to remove his hooks in the interests of security.
