So what's Guys Gone Wild all about, I wonder as I stumble across a home page that resembles a flyer that a supermarket might give away: Special offers, varied content, advertisements, lots of colour and sexy boys. It's wild all right and the wildest thing is that you can do all kinds of things, like view trailers and photos and even buy DVDs.

Members can view the exclusive DVD titles inside but that's not really why I came here, I wanted to go shopping and I can do that at Guys Gone Wild, or at Girls Gone Wild come to that, the sister site that takes care of the straight sex. In the DVD store I found the beginnings of a promising on-line shopping site with 14 titles and a simple, clear layout. Although the initial home page had screamed at me with colour and movement the store itself was actually quite plain. And that's a good thing in my opinion as I was able to concentrate on the products and didn't get distracted by advertisements.

These exclusive titles were available as DVDs (and sometimes VHS) for sensible prices, $19.99 was standard with the current hot favourite offer of two titles for $29.99 being a real bargain. Clicking the 'details' link brings you more information about each title and clicking the 'Video Clips' link at the top of the page will take you to some free samples from the movies so you can test drive before you order 'Dude where's my pants?' or 'Hunk Hotel'. And there are more savings to be had on the Offers page with three-packs for $49.95.

As for the productions, this isn't a studio I've heard much about but it's clear that they favour the college guy – the kind of guy who's not quite a hunk but isn't a twink any more, with hunk and twink aged guys on either side, if you see what I mean. Twenty-something, smooth, well built guys compete with twinks for the best place on the cover shot. Whatever you call them they all look hot and the free pics (though a bit rough on quality) will give you more of a flavour for them as will the large sized cover shot on the details pages.

A DVD store is only as good as two things: it's DVDs and it's delivery: the titles, cast and products looks as good here as on any store site so how does the other thing check out – the checkout and delivery? I added a title to my cart, was taken straight to it and offered a 30 day money back guarantee. One step further and I was prompted to enter my shipping address and choose if I wanted regular or priority shipping. As long as I was in the USA or Canada and didn't mind paying between one and two thirds of the cost of the DVD again in shipping (!) I could carry on and place the order. I checked the FAQ page at this point and, along with he standard Q and As about discrete shipping and how to pay, I found contact details so I could check if I was eligible for shipping, being outside the USA.

Bottom Line:
So it's a small collection at the store and the shipping looks restricted and costly but there is also the members' area to consider. The titles look good enough, the casts are certainly hot enough and the site is simple to use. It's worth checking out as the titles are exclusive and you won't have seen them before. And once you become a Guys Gone Wild fan you can even buy the cap and T-shirt to go along with your DVDs.
