Samuel Colt Wins Unzipped Magazine's Man of the Year

The guys over at Unzipped have announced today the winner of their Man Of the Year contest was Mustang Studio and Men magazine’s August 2009 cover model, Samuel Colt! Who doesn’t love a masculine stud like Samuel Colt! YUMMM!

Depending on interest, they are planning to have 2 workshops scheduled during our upcoming film shoot in Capetown/South Africa.

So far they are planning 2 workshops:
Workshop 1, starting on March 8 and finishing March 13 will be conducted by Howard Roffman and we recommend this for participants who have some basic knowledge of photography
Workshop 2, starting on March 14 and finishing March 20 will be conducted by Benno Thoma will be ideal for aspiring photographers of all levels, from pure beginners to those who have knowledge of their camera already

The workshop participants will have access to most of the current stars from our movies and website. You will get to meet the guys, socialize with them and most importantly have the opportunity to take you own images of the guys. The best pictures will be published in a special commemorative book.

The workshops will have the following format:
Day 1: Arrival and welcome dinner. At the welcome dinner you will be introduced to your instructor, meet and get the chance to chat with BelAmi founder George Duroy and all of the crew as well as the chance to get to know some of the models that you will be working with for the next 4 days
Day 2 – 5: 1/2 day workshop and instruction, 1/2 day freeform photographic session
Day 6: Brunch and Departure

Here is a bit of news for those with some time on your hands. According to the Telegraph, “Scientists at the University of Montreal launched a search for men who had never looked at pornography”, but the crazy thing is they couldn’t find any!

The Researchers were trying to conduct a study to compare the views of men in their 20s who had never seen pornography with regular users. ‘But their project stumbled at the first hurdle when they failed to find a single man who had not been seen it.’ the Telegraph writes.

The Professor conducting the study interviewed 20 heterosexual male university students who viewed porn, and found that:

- On average they first watched pornography when they were 10 years old.
- Around 90% of consumption was on the internet, while 10 per cent of material came from video stores.
- Single men watched pornography for an average of 40 minutes, three times a week, while those in relationships watched it 1.7 times a week for around 20 minutes.
- Men watched porn that matched their own image of sexuality, and quickly discarded material they found offensive or distasteful.

“Pornography hasn’t changed their perception of women or their relationship, which they all want to be as harmonious and fulfilling as possible,” Prof Lajeunesse added.

I bet there are a few of us that could easily write our own paper on the subject matter.
