Gore Defends Same Sex Marriage

By Seth on January 24, 2008 5:44 PM

“I think it’s wrong for the government to discriminate against people because of that person’s sexual orientation,” he says. “I think gay men and women ought to have the same rights as heterosexual men and women — to make contracts, to have hospital visiting rights, to join together in marriage, and I don’t understand why it is considered by some people to be a threat to heterosexual marriage.”

It's too bad the the debacle in Florida cost him his Presidency. All Americans would be a lot better off.

We are now faced with an economic meltdown, and probable depression, yes, depression.

Funny, though, I have not seen either CLinton or Obama speak out on the issue as Former Vice President Gore has during this campaign.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

It would be quite nice to capture 10% of the vote with such a straightforward and correct way to do something that is ignored, generally.

Wish Gore was in the race, even as a spoiler, don't believe the Americam people would embrace.
