The city of Fort Lauderdale has been named Favorite Gay Resort Town in the 2007 Out Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards.  All of us here at the JUB and BZ office have had lots of opportunity to explore this amazing city ourselves, and I can definitely see the appeal.  In comparison to Miami, it's a bit more laid back, slower paced, and the guys are generally more mature.  That too could have double meaning. 

The Royal Palms Resort was chosen as the Favorite Gay Resort/Guesthouse of '07 by Out Traveler.  I have not yet checked out this place for myself, but it's not the first time I've heard of it nor the first time it's received such high acclaim and praise from the critics of the gay community.

Congrats to the city of Fort Lauderdale and to the Royal Palms Resort!  I can vouch for the FTL.  Not only is it a great city to visit, but also a great city for gays to live.  Just ask one of the many gay people you're bound to run in to when you visit!
