I received a very interesting e-mail update from gay porn agent David Forest. It announced the fact that he and Johnny Castle were going into business together. At first I was perplexed because it is already a well-known fact that David represents Johnny. THEN as I read further I realized that what they were announcing was the start of a partnership where both would act as representation for up-and-coming new talent. The first two boys that they are representing are Tony Capucci (whom we have written about before on the Newswire), who has shot for Randy Blue, Jake Cruise, and CockyBoys, as well as Wes Brody (pictured above) who has already shot for Jake Cruise. Throughout his prolific career as an agent and manager (which actually started in the mainstream music industry managing the likes of Stevie Nicks (!) before segueing into gay pornography) David has managed some of the top names in gay porn, like Ryan Idol, Ken Ryker, Billy Brandt, and Shane Rollins. However, he has also had a few brushes with the legal system, which had prompted speculation from industry insiders as to who would take over the Forest Men if David himself should need to leave the business for whatever reason. Well this announcement today pretty much answers that question. We congratulate Mr. Castle on his new position and wish all of the Forest Men the best of luck.
