No I did not make this up, and no hell did not freeze over. Yes, both Michael Lucas and Colton Ford are going to be appearing in a movie with Brent Corrigan. Only it's not going to be a porn movie. It's an actual mainstream film! Previously we had reported that Brent was in Fort Lauderdale filming Another Gay Sequel: Gays Gone Wild. Today he gave us, via his blog an update from the shoot. Here is the snippet that caught my eye:

"Aside from that, I had the pleasure of meeting two other porn stars while being here on set for this project. I’m really not at liberty to say which two, because I feel it’s up to them to break the news about their cameos in this production. When these two showed up, I did find it rather odd that GayVN and Jason Curious had not and still have not yet reported such great news! I will say, however, that these two certainly made their antipathy and disinterest for me very clear without mouthing any words at all. Funny how the legit actors welcomed me with genuine interest and open arms, and this pair basically ignored my presence on this project. I will say that one, in fact, has taken the liberty of posting written, multi-paragraph notices to the industry urging fans, viewers, journalists, studios, and producers not to buy my work, support my cause, or hire me for adult projects. So, I do find it rather interesting that he can work beside me on the same set without harboring those initial feelings.

Look, I don’t hate this man. I’ve said it a thousand times; I base my opinions of people on my experiences with them. A tough life, if nothing else, has taught me this. At this time, all I ask is that this man put some of his producer prejudice feelings aside long enough to shake my hand without acting like it hurts to do so.

But no, this did not rain on my parade. In actuality, I’m positive about having the chance to meet these two in person. Maybe there’s a hope that they walked away from this with, God forbid, a slightly graduated opinion of me."

So although Brent is being very polite and coy about it, I will come out and say it: It's Michael Lucas and Colton Ford. Their participation in the film does not surprise me. Both of them have done mainstream acting turns (Lucas in RuPaul's film Starbooty: Reloaded and Ford in the here!tv series The Lair) before. However there are TWO things about this that DO surprise me: One is that Michael Lucas would be willing to do ANYTHING with Brent Corrigan. Michael is whom Brent is referring to that wrote the "multi-paragraph notices" to the industry. (Time permitting I will go into that brouhaha later in the Newswire since it happened long before I started this job. But as I said when I was writing about Lucas vs. Raging Stallion...or Lucas vs. Johnny Hanson...or Lucas vs. David Forest ...or Lucas vs. the Grabby Awards, etc. etc.: "You never know when any of these feuds will rear their ugly heads again." So I will detail Lucas vs. Brent more later, even though it is admittedly old news.) The other thing that surprised me is that Colton Ford would be shady to Brent Corrigan. I see absolutely no reason why that should be happening at all, unless there is some reason that the public does not know about. No matter what though, it looks like a fun movie (much like its predecessor Another Gay Movie) and I, for one, can't wait to see it!
