Our top two scandals revisited

GOOD MORNING! Whoa! How hot is David Beckham in this ad for Armani underwear? Yikes! Too hot for his own good, I'll tell you that much! Nothing like a little bit of delicious eye candy before we dive right in to the world of porn news.

First of all I thought we should revisit the two hot-button topics that the readers are eating up with a spoon. The first is "Michael Lucas vs. Brent Corrigan." The latest salvo comes from blogger DeWayne In San Diego. In a recent blog entry DeWayne calls Michael Lucas out and not only alleges that the New York City pornographer actually offered Brent a role (with a sizable salary) in his epic Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita (which Brent subsequently turned down), but he also goes into detail about the lawsuit that the copyright holders for Fellini's La Dolce Vita are bringing against Lucas. He claims to have seen the e-mails from Michael Lucas to Brent asking him to be in his production. Well all I have to say to that is, "Don't be stingy Brent, show us too!" ;-) I also want to clarify my stance on this feud, because I have been accused of flip-flopping my position. The truth is, I see both sides of the argument because people are fighting over apples and oranges. Brent's many supporters feel that Michael is being insensitive because Brent was pressured into lying about his age so many years ago when he first went to work for Cobra Video. But you see, that argument is all about INTENT. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that Brent would never intend to do something to bring down the entire gay porn industry. Obviously not, or else he wouldn't still be here 4 years later. But the reality is, even unintentional, that act could have potentially had serious repercussions for the entire industry, which is what Michael is reacting to, and he said it himself, forgiveness is not in his nature. Lucky for Brent, there are plenty others who are forgiving, and lucky for all of us, the world of gay porn was relatively unaffected by the underage scandal at Cobra Video.

Moving on to "Brodie-gate," we have another statement from Ricky "The Hammer" Sinz. This time it was made via Banana Guide. Ricky says:
"Well now Brodie Sinclair is claiming I shoot my dick with needles. OK Brodie, let’s get down to business. You were not only one of the most worthless actors on the set, every 5 minutes you had to get on your cell phone to look at straight porn to get hard ... You blew off a scene claiming you're sick only to go to a hotel to bang some nasty prostitute and do drugs, and you have the nerve to say Raging Stallion doesn't have their shit together ...  I hope some day you change for the better but I see your future. You'll be broke, homeless, and strung out. Before you try to come at me with your b.s., you better check yourself you junkie piece of shit."
Whoa! Just when you thought this fight was over, it has just spilled into another ring. Perhaps this feud has helped with sales for the film GRUNTS. According to Chris Ward himself, GRUNTS has helped the studio in November to have the highest month for sales in the history of Raging Stallion. According to him, the average DVD moves about 3,000 units, which GRUNTS has already done, and it hasn't even "officially" come out yet! I am not trying to take away from the perceived artistic merit of the film, quite the contrary. I haven't seen it yet, but it looks AMAZING and people are already talking about various awards for it. But still, you know what they say, "There's no such thing as bad press..."

Well folks, that's all for now, until we check in tomorrow for more gay porn gossip!

I recall Dewayne made the same charge against Lucas at Jasons News desk in February when Lucas released the derogatory "letter to the industry" Lucas did not respond then or deny he made Brent an offer. I think the procedure is Michael should deny he made the film offer, then Brent publishes the emails showing Lucas for the Fool and Liar he is!
So we must not expect a response from the cowardly Princess of Chelsea!
Michael did ask Brent to be in La Dolce Vita. Brent refused. That is what Lucas cannot forgive. The personal insult, the now public rejection, that is what drives Michael's goat. There is no interest in protecting the industry here. Michael cannot and will not deny this. Angel, you want to get Brent to release those E-mails? Get Mr. Lucas to deny they exist. That should do it quite nicely.
Guess what, Michael will not.
This is not about protecting 'the industry.'
Angel if I read this correctly, you're just simply saying the general audiences is forgiving Brent's past. It can't not be seen as an endorsement of "not interested in protecting the industry", however.

Nothing's wrong with flip-flopping, you're just reporting and put your minor thoughts on it.
Since Cobra was unaffected by your theory that a teenager lying about his age was a threat, I do not see how it can possibly be a threat to an entire industry as you claim. On the on the other hand, a producer that ignores 2257 and makes millions off that crime (while enjoying some boy rape privileges) could indeed and should bring regular and thorough inspection of all 2257 records at all studios. That would protect everyone. I suspect however, that you are not really interested in protecting the industry. From Albert
I have a suggestion lets lock Brodie and Michael Lucas in a bathroom in a Saw replay and see what happens! LOL
