JUB AFL Footy Tipping Competition

To all Aussie Rules AFL followers out there ....

Why didn't I think of this before the season started?? Would you be interested in participating in a JUBBERS' footy tipping competition? We could do this completely online via footytips.com.au (the site is really easy to use). I'm happy to set up the comp for our group and have it up and running by Round Two, if enough people are interested.

There are no costs involved .... and no prizes at the end of it unfortunately .... but it could be a lot of fun ... and you could be the one who earns the prestigious title of 2006 Supreme Champion Footy Tipster by the end of the season!

I would need a minimum of 8 - 10 people to participate to make it worth my while setting up, so guys, if you're interested, PM me ASAP. I will then PM you back with all the details. Actually, if you could give me an email address in your PM that would be even better.

Well, in selecting Carlton I guess I didn't think that Fevola would be missed as much as he was! And Koutoufides wasn't up to his normal form. Still, that's the way it goes.

However, I have just finished watching the Dogs and the Cats on Fox !

I picked the Bulldogs - so I'm one down - one up so far.

And boy - what a match . . . . a real nailbiter - and anybody's game right to to the end! (Western Bulldogs 98, beat Geelong by ONE POINT!!)

I agree! Nearly every game could go either way. The first two games in the round are between "cellar dwellers" so who knows? I just gotta do better than last week. National pride is at stake.

Well yes your boys did mount a destruction job on Lethal's mob. Channel 10 in Melbourne had the Swans/Cats game. I guess your game was on Foxtel (in the eastern states). So I didn't see you in the middle tier! 80% so far. Did Ben play?

He was awesome! And so were the goals that Chicky kicked! Must admit the Eags were fairly scrappy in the first half, but terrific in the second. It was great to be there!
