eBay
I have been shopping on eBay now for about one month. I am absolutely hooked! It is a shoppers paradise! Just yesterday I bought a brand new pair of 50 dollar jeans for $16.95 plus shipping! Be jealous! I also got a new beautiful pink striped shirt that retails for 38 dollars for $12.99 plus shipping! I also bought a pretty pink saphhire and sterling silver ring, size 9, for 14 dollars plus shipping. I've bought most of my earings from the same seller that I bought the ring from.
So, who else is hooked on eBay? I can't be the only shopaholic.

Re: eBay
I always look on ebay before I buy anywhere else, although I tend to refrain from purchasing electronics from there (depending on the type and reputation of the seller). Lots of great deals. I also use it to get rid of junk I don't want anymore.
I don't use paypal though as I don't agree with their terms of service and it is somewhat getting harder to buy stuff and sell stuff if you don't take it or use it.

Re: eBay
I am addicted the other way around... selling stuff on eBay. I have made some amazing deals. A poster I got at a yard sale for a quarter sold for over a hundred dollars. My old pair of leather chapshorts I haven't worn since the late 1990s sold for fifty (got them for about twenty dollars twenty years ago). Picked up a leather jacket in a thrift store for 10, cleaned it up with some saddle soap and leather conditioner - sold it for 55.
(Yes, the blog is in English...)

I bought a CD player for 5 dollars brand new. I mostly buy clothing and jewelry. I did buy my patient a new walker (she's 89 and has no balance) for a scant 23 dollars. Brand new!
I always use Paypal, but it's just easier. I always use buy it now as well. I mean, if I want it, I figure just get it and avoid the bidding and waiting days on end to know if you have it. I say buy the damn thing and get it shipped.
There are more rings and earrings that I want yet.
This is the ring I bought yesterday:

I haven't sold anything on eBay.
I'm sooo tempted to buy certain clothing that I know others in this area (rural georgia) would find shocking. But, like I told someone recently, this area still has tall trees and christian fundamentalists, and I like my feet on the ground.
Someday I'll live in a place like San Francisco or Vancouver, and I'll wear frilly pink lacy things without fear.

Re: eBay
I buy a lot of antique and collectable items from eBay. Very good prices. Most of the time I use paypal or bidpay which makes it easy to complete a transaction. **WARNING**Whenever you get an email from eBay, don't click the links in the email! Go to the eBay website, sign-in, and check your messages. If the email is legitimate, it will appear in your eBay messages. If it does not appear it is false. Currently there is a lot of fake eBay email that is good enough to fool anyone. If you click on a link in the fake email, you infect your computer. Spam filters don't often block this email and it looks official. Be warned.

Re: eBay
Best sale I ever had on eBay was for a rusty old 19th century branding iron I found in an Out of the Closet thrift store in LA for $1.
I did some research on the internet and identified the brand as belonging to an early Texas settler involved in the Alamo massacre. I posted the item with photos and links to the research. It sold for over $600. Back to Texas. Every bidder was a Texan.

Re: eBay
eBay is great, i buy on ebay all the time... Anything from DVDs to Laptops to rare hard to find collectables. I've made well over 35+ purchases on ebay and have only had 1 bad experience. And even that was not much of a problem at all to clear up, got my money refunded right away.
Just research what you're buying beforehand so you know exactly what you're looking for. Look at MANY different offers before you bid, and ALWAYS, ALWAYS use PayPal.
