Anyway, the op sent me a message and I replied there I discovered I loaned my unrated copy out. (Probably why I hadn't seen it recently enough to remember...wondered HOW I wouldn't remember that!) He checked for me and the run time appears to be the same on the "R" and unrated?!?! (Maybe extra/deleted scenes included?) He is going to get it back to me ASAP and I found an "R" rated copy, so will compare...just not sure when I'll get them. I PROMISE to post my findings when I do. If anyone else has a clue, please lemme know, too!!! I am getting confused and anxious!

Okay, as promised - here is what I found... (Although I am more confused now.)
I managed to get hold of both the "unrated version" (listed as so on the cover and disc) and the rated "R" version to compare. As I posted earlier, both are listed at a run time of 93 minutes. I was not able to find any extra footage in the unrated version even though it lists "additional unrated footage". Here are the features as listed on each:

"R" Bonus Features~
-Commentary from Lee Daniels and Cuba Gooding, Jr.
-The Making Of Shadowboxer.

"Unrated" Version Bonus Features~
-Featurette: "Making of Shadowboxer:
-Interview with Lee Daniels

-Additional unrated footage.
-Widescreen version.
-Dolby 5.1 surround sound

I cannot figure out where the "additional footage" is!?! The Dorff condom/frontal scene doesn't appear extended or different to me. Based on what I have seen, I'd say go for the most cost effective choice unless one would like the different bonus features of the unrated version. Perhaps someone else can help??? (I did watch the featurette -just in case- and didn't notice more Dorff dick there either.)
