Ugh, he's lost his looks so fast. I don't know if this particular pic is a joke or something he's doing for a film, but he's been rapidly declining in the last two years or so. Last season I really noticed it during the Smallville ep with Alan Ritchson as Aquaman when everyone was drooling over Ritchson's amazing body and Welling looked like the Pillsbury Doughboy shirtless. Seriously, boyfriend's getting man boobs and everything. So sad.

Look - Tom came from a blue-collar background with NO interest in modeling or acting. He was spotted, and recruited to model for a local agency and he's been a fairytale story ever since. He worked for his family business in construction, I believe. He is from good, wholesome stock that has little passion for the celebrity life. I truly believe he is out there making as much money as he can and will be content when and if it's all over.

Just one observation, if he really cared what the industry thought or for that matter what WE thought, he would have been talked into new teeth. He has REAL teeth people!

He does work out - ALL the time on the set -- he's built that way.

PLUS, if she (Mrs. Tom Welling) casts him aside, I am first in line. I don't care what he looks like!

Thank you, bluedragon4, chance1, and luvgil1! The beard is awful, but he probably looks that way for a movie or TV role. I doubt that anyone who posted on this topic is perfect, myself included. It's really sad when we start trashing the icons we love if they gain weight, get older, or change their hairstyle. Unfortunately there are people like nik2 and blueto21 who are extremely superficial. I've never met Tom Welling, he might be the nicest guy ever, and that's a lot more important than if he gained 15 pounds or grew a scraggly beard, don't you think?
