    Too white/pale. Help?

Guys I'm still a bit uncomfortable with how white I am. Any advice on how to get a decent healthy looking color without hurting my skin much? I'm a white blonde with hazel eyes so yeah genetics aren't helping me much on this one. How do you pale guys go about this? I really want a change and honestly a bit tired of being mocked for being so white..
    Thanks.

Some blondes tan easily and keep their tans, others do not. What is your experience? "Strawberry blondes" tend to have the milk white skin associated with red heads and do not retain tans.

You can either paint yourself with the same crap Snooki used to use before she got pregnant(hell, she may still use it - i'm not in the know on that), or, and this goes counter to what you asked, but you can learn to embrace your skin tone, because some guys(bias incoming!) happen to like a guy that doesn't think the end of his problems come in a tan. If you're mocked by your friends, tell them to knock it off or you'll find new people that respect you. If you're mocked by strangers... well, they're strangers - they don't matter.

If you're a light hair, light eye guy, you're probably either going to burn or freckle. And any prolonged exposure to ultraviolet light from sunlight or a tanning bed is going to just cause damage and premature aging... not to mention the increased risk of skin cancer.

You might try spray tanning at a salon. There are lighter shades that look healthy and don't have the orange cast that the cheaper spray tans do. If you go this route, you should look for a tanning treatment that uses pigments not dihydroxyacetone (DHA) since DHA tends to cause an orange cast.

Sometimes it's just the genes you're dealt. I have dark hair like my two younger brothers and all I can do is set in the sun and turn a bright red, have my skin peel and be white as I was when I began. Both of my brothers spend what seems like only five minutes out side without a shirt on and they get a tan that lasts forever.
