No. Rather top less, bare-chested, whatever you call it, with the long, slim fit pants and the right, sober jewelry around the wrists... and more for afternoon and early evening than actual evening.
I love tall, athletic smooth guys showing their legs up to the asscheeks when they are asked to cover their torsos while strolling on their way from and to the beach on the coast over here, but if we are talking style, trunks are the devil, and if Anna Wintour respected herself the way I never will respect her, she would have done something about it but... what the hell, she never cared about male fashion any more than the rest, and she is way done and past her moment so, what the hell..

Now, see there? THAT should be [a bad rendering of ] mainstream outfit for guys: girls can wear whatever they want, but they can not just claim exclusiveness on what does not suit their bodies as well as the proper athletic, svelte body... wait, that is the point: no comparison, no competition, no humiliation

And here was I thinking the ones I post were different than the regular boring suits that every collection has.

I know these are nowhere near original/daring as womenswear but I'm trying to post outfits that I think are at least a bit different than most regular menswear but still wearable and stylish not outrageous.

I agree that menswear as of now is too stagnate but I think it is going to beat womenswear in the future - distant future - hopefully. I feel almost everything that could be designed for a woman has been designed already and it's actually getting repetitive in womenswear but in the opposite way to menswear.

The perfect dress for a man hasn't been designed yet!

Exactly there are so many things wrong with Anna Wintour and menswear is one of them! Not that she's any good with womenswear - look at what she wears. Fashion Police did not name her their first Fas-hole for nothing!

At this years MET ball finally some of the male celebs were wearing white coats instead of the eternal black coats.

The reason - becasue Matthew McConoughey & Jared Leto wore them at the Oscars.

And then Anna named Benedict Cumberbatch (one of her many minions) as the Best Dressed! I mean this - the same thing that men have been wearing from the last century!

And then at the CFDA Rihanna won the award wearing next to nothing. I mean it just makes me want to commit suicide!

  48. #48

    Re: An outfit a day.

But it's not just Anna. Most fashion designers are gay but the strange thing is that most of them 'understand' womenswear or at least are daring in that sector much more than menswear.

Like Tom Ford - another of Anna's minions - allegedly created the most daring designs at Gucci but till today all his menswear collections are the same - suits.

George Kosiopoulos of Fashion Police (who has the most annoying laugh ever and self-admittedly scared of Anna Wintour) has no style at all and whenever a male celeb wears something different he criticizes them while calling some actresses dresses boring.

Like when Justin Timberlake wore a grey suit to the SAGs he nominated it for worst dressed! According to him every man must wear the traditional black suit/black tie to the 'formal' event

Also when they featured this picture of Anne and her husband his comment was something along the line of - when your man has better legs than you - you know something's wrong

Even Rihanna's stylists are a gay couple.

I'm just dumbfounded till this day there isn't a single stylist of any male celeb - Hollywood and British - that will dress them daringly.

I found this article (and it was a lucky find because most people do not even understand this issue to begin with let alone write an article about it) and it gives a very interesting point of view on this issue much of which I had in my head but am not witty/intelligent enough to process it properly and write down myself

The only thing I do not agree with the writer is about cruising through/shopping in the women's section (because I want menswear to be daring not be daring by wearing womenswear) but overall I love this article

I have done it, but the problem is that it doesn't have that much to offer either (I tried again last week and was lucky enough to find a couple of slim fit polos..well, it was the same design and I bought two items)... I think, in fact, I only bought a pair of gloves from a female section twenty years ago.
Yes, even at shops female attendants will be honest enough to tell you so...
The trail of desperation: first, buy as many as you can from the model you finally liked, then, visit the female section, finally... design and make your own clothing.
