Since 2008 regulations in Canada changed, not allowing sexually active gay men to donate organs,
At the same time, I'm sure there are a few stipulations that if you had cancer, and certain other diseases you're not allowed to be an organ donor either.
So I'm trying to figure out this campaign put out by Ontario's Ministry of Health, asking "How Can you NOT?"
And it reminds me of elementary school, and asking the teacher "Can I go to the washroom" and her response being "I don't know, CAN you?" very sarcastically, as that response always seems.
I'm kind of picking that same tone up from this particular banner.
"How CAN you not!?"
Well simply put, many Canadians CAN NOT donate, due to a variety of factors, and not excuses, but regulations put forth by Health Canada - some very valid reasons; and some due to "safety precautions".
I'm not offended, I'm not saying all their reasons are justified... I just don't think it's appropriate wording for their cause...
