    A beautiful man . . .

A beautiful person sent me this today, and it moved me.

    May you find it so.

I cannot post the video directly, as it does have a child as well.

Thanks for sharing this beautiful little gem. It conveys a pure sense of kindness and generosity of the human spirit, and gives some hope that beautiful people do indeed exist.

Thanks. Most people are good. They may not walk on water, or be this altruistic, but most people are this man at some point during the day.

I wish our commercials were like that on TV.

    Re: A beautiful man . . .

A great video with a great message.

Im surprised that no one found this. . .

The Youtube user name is This Will Blow Your Mind. With a name like that, I looked at other videos. I noticed a website http://www.thisblewmymind.com

As the name implies, it is videos that will blow your mind. I took a brief look at it, but this blew my mind . . .

    http://www.thisblewmymind.com/passer...sh-will-shock/

    Question:
I could ask Deja about this in a private message, but as I have just demonstrated (pat my own back), information is power.

I thought the little girl was not shown long enough in the video to give it a reason to not post the video. Its a video with a great message. People who decide to not look at the link will not know

A video cant be posted because a minor is posted in it or is it because (I was once told) there are sexual predators that might come here and that video feeds into the predator's warped fantasies.

Why should a video not be shown when a young person plays a minor role in the video?

I thought I should look at a few more videos . . He looks like a predator, right?

    . . . from http://www.thisblewmymind.com/time-l...an-remarkable/

    PS
I think if someone on Youtube posts a good video, you might want to what else they have posted

That's like saying, "Michelangelo's Pieta is sublime, uplifting, inspiring, moving, and reverent. Surely he must have been a saint among men!" No, he was a sculptor. He must have been a gifted sculptor, not a saint.

The ad is not about life insurance. It is about life. There's no fly in the ointment, only an excuse for someone shamed by charity. How very telling.

Whether the Thai Life Insurance Company is the equal of this generous character in the video is not the question. The hippie Coca-Cola commercial "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing" did not make everyone think Coke was run by peace-loving heirs of the beatnik generation. It just made us all feel good. Likewise for this vid.

Art is what it is, and this is a masterfully crafted, inspiring video. All the humans I sent it to, as well as all who watched in on this forum, were moved, some to tears. That's power. It's power that transcends even the corporate source.

Satan's role is that of the accuser against mankind according to the ancient Hebrews. He would claim you as one of his own today. The video has had an incredible power to inspire community, charity, and humanity. That must really bother you. So be it. You chose your side. Humans march on.

I quite agree in that publicity can be an extremely strong art form on its own where the message is more important than the company putting it out.

In this case it seems there were two objectives; one to produce something extremely emotive and inspirational whilst at the same time associating a company's image to it. In fact I feel the video had no intention of linking the company policy to such an emotive subject but rather a means of conveying the company name and making the viewers aware of its existence.

Usually the best commercials are those where the company takes second place to the production.

That's exactly what I got out of it. He looks totally shocked that his simple acts made such a tremendous change in the little girl's life. He got laughs and hugs, a butterfly and a dedicated friend, but the little girl was far beyond anything he could have imagined.

No, don't be deceived: I was attacking you directly. Only your dimness could make it appear indirect.

I defend the Thai video unequivocally. Detracting from it and ignoring the obvious and inherent good it does is beyond unperceptive or indifferent. It is clearly evil.

I've seen both the OP's posted video and the Homeless Veteran Transformation on Facebook - I think Upworthy posted them - some are in a format other than the You Tube original, and I don't know how to post those, don't always think to see if a You Tube version is available.

I ddn't realize it was an ad, either - great message all the way around.

I noticed it upon first viewing and assumed it to be in the Coke or Absolut traditions of presenting life instead of talking about the company.

As for posting vids, I tried like all getout to post a Colbert Report vid yesterday from Comedy Central's site, but could only get a link.

    Rage, rage.

Yet, be sure that the humans here continue to be inspired by the light.

The video bears truth, and that threatens your world to its core.

Hope can be so infuriating when you can't seem to tamp it out.

Contrary to disguised, my face is known here. My life is told here. My world is shared here. You post from the shadows and hide your identity, life, ethnicity, family, and reality.

You have actively advocated violence, prejudice, and derision of the handicapped in your posts on this forum. No one can accuse you of wearing a disguise. That is not virtue.

    Telly,
Do you enjoy being the resident troll?
Take a break from it and rejoin humanity.

And I know, if I'll only be true, to this glorious quest . . .

What is what I are? There isn't even an antecedent to that.

The last time I checked, ridiculing Stephen Hawking's appearance due to his illness wasn't a product of one's English proficiency, but a result of one's inhumanity. "I can't write any better" wasn't the source of your rebuff in this thread.

Let's be clear. You entered the thread and disparaged the video that every other poster has applauded as inspiring. You are left with the alternative conclusions that you are either incapable of relating to its humanity or that you alone have uncovered some diabolic aspect or motive in the images portrayed. The obvious answer is the obvious answer here.

Your retorts are nothing less than bizarre. You fling epithets, and when presented with your actual posts, their content, and malice, you run off and hide behind the grammar. Nice.

    Just answer the question.
    Would you kiss him?

1,000 times yes. I dated a girl who was in a wheel chair with cerebral palsy.

That you can even ask that question is a horrible revelation. How monstrous to suggest that one is unlovable because of a physical deformity.

When called out on it, you then turned to cowardice and hoped it was somehow acceptable as a joke, even more reprehensible: http://www.justusboys.com/forum/thre...hlight=hawking

Human recognize humanity. It is something within us that finds it within another.

It is no wonder that the Thai video angers you. What heart is there to stir?
