Awwww. It happens to all of us sometimes.

I had a brunch for eight friends and neighbors a few months back. The quiches were terrible, and that never happened before. But, I've learned over my years of cooking that there are just days when I couldn't open a box of crackers and get good results.

My love of cooking, and name as a cook, is based on my experiences day in and day out, not my worst moments.

Just went to the dentist. Hate it and next time it's worse (tooth extractions...). Had a panic attack this morning, because of the dentist, and because of a phone call to get a job. I despair I can manage to get one and, more difficult, keep it. I'm so inadequate

Yesterday I woke up, tended to hygiene, read news articles, ate penne pasta, masturbated, and got e-mails from a friend.

The masturbation was wonderful, and I was not interrupted.

Today I woke up, ate a banana and drank an ensure, tended to my hygiene, and now I'm watching "TMZ Live".

There are people who wouldnt think of it, and I am letting them know it is something they could do. Just like labelling power cords, people may not think of it, but its a good tip for those with overflowing surge protectors

^okay, seriously and without taking the piss, here... if I hadn't thought of it, how would I search for your tutorial? By thinking up the search term "labeling power cords" or "writing a list of passwords," surely I've just suddenly worked it out myself?

I don't mean to be like a dog with a bone, but I really don't get what you were going for. In a way it reminds me of the National Roads Agency adverts on tv here, which suggest you drive on their roads to get to your destination quickly. Thing is, there aren't any public roads in .za which aren't theirs, so it seems like a massive, fuck-off waste of time and (my tax) money on the advert.

I don't get the point of either of them.

Is this a trend? We have government agencies here doing the same thing!! A ridiculous waste of money advertising a compulsory product.

Stupid. It'd probably the same ideas as this new fad for fools to paint their bodies to advertise themselves and avoid their inner emptiness.

I bought a new clothes dryer, but I must wait for it to be delivered. So I have to go to a public laundromat later. I must be getting prim, because this seems a bit grimy to me now.

I took my youngest dog to the veterinarian. We had to muzzle him because he will snap when afraid. He farted nervously.

I tried a new restaurant for lunch. The food was mostly adequate but the presentation pissed me off. I hate culinary caricatures when an estimable tradition could be relied on instead.

I did neglect to mention that the clerk who sold me the dryer had scheduled cataract surgery. No one had told her she had mascara smeared on her cheeks.

So my idea is backfiring on me now

I took my laptop to Staples (authorized servicer for HP) and I thought the power would be fixed. They said the drive should be backed up which means $80 (labor) and a blank hard drive to place the data on. It would be $146.

I had all my tutorials on there so I initially said ok, but then I realized I could save the tutorials from Youtube so I said no. Itys being sent to HP and the hard drive will come back blank.

I spent hours changing my passwords on the 'usernames' document that is sitting on my desktop, just in case someone looked and copied the information. But since the data will be wiped clean, those hours were wasted.

I later realized that all my new video captures were on the laptop so I have lost those.

I purchased and d/led the Skyview app for my iPhone...

... now I'm exHAUSted. All that typing and link clicking and USB cable connecting an' stuff. Poor fingies are worked to the bone.

I even had to bend over to disconnect the USB cable from the AC adapter to plug it into the USB port on my 'puter. OH the humanity!

    I forgot to say what I did today . . .

    Today
I was cleaning my place during the night because I had a feedback noise on my tv and the tech guy is coming between 10am and noon, but he was here at 1130 am
I then realized that he might give me a new dvr which means he would take my 'loaded' dvr and all the things Ive saved for my collection so I spent time video capturing.
I went to sleep for awhile and set the alarm for 8:45 am.
    I finished my cleaning up.
    The tv guy was here.
Ive been going thru my documents and consolidating my documents so I have no repeats (so I can then burn a back up copy)
    Watched some tv.
Im still working on my documents (included is that master list Ive mentioned and getting everything straightened out).
Ill watch tv (Survivor, Big Brother Canada, etc) and because I was cleaning up, I will work out tonight once today on Gazelle fitness flyer. (photo) http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41SI7D6rjyL.jpg

    Yesterday:
I went to Staples and took in my laptop for servicing
I went to see Captain America 2 but I left early because I wasnt into the movie. I was bummed out after seeing some attractive guys. Sounds stupid I know
Went home and went to bed
Worked out twice on my Gazelle fitness flyer

    Back on Monday:
I visited my mom (she's 84 yrs old and in a place for senior citizens. She can't quite live on her own). We play Scrabble when I visit because we dont have that much in common. But we are evenly matched and it literally goes from one visit to the next where she wins, then I win, then she wins, etc.
After that, I went to my sisters to pick up the receipt for the laptop I would need to get it fixed
I was creating new passwords before taking my laptop
    Watch tv.
Worked out on Gazelle during the morning and at night. Im losing weight quicker by exercising twice a day. Im 186 lbs (from 212 lbs0)
This guy inspired me to work out twice a day . . . http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/ar...r-Muscles.html

Note: my usual day is less busy

I gave a lecture on drug metabolism and in doing so enthralled my Honours Bachelor students for the 4th day in a row. Then I drew up the exam for that section, which takes place tomorrow morning. Then I did an experiment for our collaborators in Hong Kong, and prepped some drug standards and quality control samples for tomorrow's experiment which is a Gates Foundation project run by our collaborators in Switzerland.

The it was karate, since it's Thursday night, some dinner and a long, hot bath with a good novel. Now I'm here, and enjoying my Nth cup of coffee for today.
