The thing is, very few companies are willing to repair anything. They just tell the customers to throw it out and buy a new one because that would actually cost less.

On a not so related note, I repaired my car battery charger once... I lent it to my friend who ran it over with his truck. He returned it to me in pieces, laughing about the whole incident. It was completely flattened but it still worked, so I bent the pieces back into shape and screwed it together.

Read "Brave New World" better to buy than to mend.

Is it the battery or charger that is bad? - have you tried more than one battery?

As far as repairing...having someone do it will likely cost more than a new one. If you can fix it yourself then its very likely worth it
(LOL if it were me I'd be cracking that thing open & having a look around inside...)

    Its the charger.
Already looked inside, resistors, capacitors ...etc no idea what to do.

Look closely at the capacitors (in particular the round ones)... are they still all perfectly shaped, or there any that are a bit distorted/bulged out?
If so that would be one thats likely bad (or going bad)

Diodes/Transistors/etc can fail, but I'd check capacitors first.

Resistors generally don't just 'go bad' - if they do fail its likely because of something else...and would probably be obvious since they tend to go black/burned.

If there's and IC Chips that have failed (no good way to test those) then its deff time for a new charger...

Diagnosing and correcting problems is costly. Unless it's a rare item why do it? The shop I worked in didn't even bother to fix 10 year old outboards...
