Because he's a public figure. That makes it everyone's business. IF he wants his privacy he should have gone to podiatry school or something.
Why are you even posting on a gossip site in the first place? It seems to be a strange activity for someone who doesn't believe in gossip.
If he is gay, then he won't come out until he retires. Too much stigma attached to being gay in the sports world, especially football.
Aaron Rodgers might be bisexual I wonder why this sexual orientation is ignored? Sexuality is complex many men do not view themselves as gay even if they have sex with other men. Or Rodgers could indeed be straight. The NFL is very homophobic and I think fear is the reason noboby wants to come out. Look at Kerry Rhodes he is clearly gay but he will not come out because he feels it will hurt his career.
"I snuff their tongues, my heart a-flutter,
These words i speak are gates to Hell..."
Celebrities lives are our entertainment and its been like that since the 1920's and in 2014 it's only heighten with all the blogs, magazines and paparazzi. Deal with it, as long as children are killing themselves its the responsibility of those public figures to come out.
I mentioned a few pages back that if Aaron Rodgers is gay and if he were to come out now (two very big if's, I know) that it would be an amazing and unprecedented event that could really create some positives and change some people's minds in regards to how narrow minded folks view gay people. But the whole concept seemed too good to be true or to expect it to happen, given how homophobic the locker rooms and other players can be.
Unfortunately, it's not just the players that are trapped in this stupid mindset but the coaches and team owners around the NFL as well. And that is exactly why we have never had a current NFL player come out and why we won't have one come out any time in the near future. I hate to sound so negative but like someone said a page back, the NFL would never allow it.
I'm providing a link written by Chris Kluwe on Deadspin. Former Minnesota Vikings punter, huge outspoken but always respectful gay ally, and his feelings over why he was cut this past spring and his experiences. It's a long read but very telling. When he wasn't flat out being ignored by coaches, he was called gay slurs by a few of them. Despite his steller stats that went unchanged, the Vikings wasted a 5th round draft pick on a punter just to get rid of him. At the end of the piece, Kluwe flat out states that by posting this, he knows he'll never be drafted by another NFL team again so speaking the truth has major consequences. Keep in mind, Kluwe isn't even gay (unfortunately) but the fact that he speaks out in support of gay rights and marriage equality gets him this kind of abuse.
This is exactly why no current players are coming out or will come out any time soon. Again, I don't know if Aaron Rodgers is gay. But if he is, he is not coming out until his playing days are over. The Chris Kluwe article only confirms it for me.
Here in the U.S. of A., under RIGHTS Invested in our Constitution, to EVERY Citizen, and even those Living in our Country, whether Legal, or not (and in Spite of the NSA), there is an Expected RIGHT to Personal Privacy!
Just because the Internet has provided "Us" with Immediate "Gratification" to our Curiosity, unless ALL of "Us" are willing to lay ourselves Bare, to the GLARING Eye, of the Incessant Gossip, and Blather, "We" can NOT Reasonably Expect ANY "Public Figures" to do likewise!
THINK about THAT!
Just more reasons to ... No Matter What ...

A celebrity coming out means nothing in the grand scheme of things. Young people in buttfuck anywhere aren't going to automatically put down the pills because a celebrity comes out.
Rejoice and Behold the pungency of my nuts for I have arrived!
So it is a celebs fault that a kid kills himself. Really. Yes there are victims out there, but that doesn't mean that everyone has to play the victim. Everyone is responsible for their own life and their own choices. Aaron Rodgers being bi, gay or straight isn't gonna make a difference in someone's life, that is just supplying a crutch for someone. You have to feel good about yourself because YOU feel good about yourself, not because someone you don't know, who doesn't know you is thrown into the media spotlight for his private life.....Yes a private life, he is a sports figure and that is is public life, but there is a private life that he has the right to as anyone else does. And it isn't for me or anyone to tell this man what he should do or shouldn't do with it.
Personally I can't see Kluwe as making it up. He's a big advocate for equality and to make up something like this would damage his creditability.

On one side of my family, I'm the oldest of my generation, and, as it turned out, not the only Gay Guy in that Family Branch, nor generation.
The next generation, "headed" by my second cousin, the anointed Family "Young Lion", MAY have been Gay, too. But, we'll never know, for sure.
He was a True "Beauty", and "Smart as a Whip"!
His Mom, my Favorite of ALL my cousins, who I had a HUGE Crush on (Still), looks like a cross between Elizabeth Montgomery (of "Bewitched"), and Faye Dunaway (of the original "Bonnie and Clyde").
His Dad is a Gorgeous blond, blue-eyed, Stud!
Jason's looks were a Phenomenal blend of the two. He was, perhaps, TOO Stunning!
The last time I saw my (Mom's side) Grandmother was her 96th birthday, the day after Christmas, and Jase was there, too. He was sporting a black eye. Though I never got the chance to get the Exact facts of what had happened to him, given Everyone that was around, I was guessing he'd had a run in with some homophobic school mates. I'm not entirely sure why I got that "Vibe".
Three months later, at Gram's memorial service, Jase was quite "prominent" at the reception, but also kind of keeping to himself. Again, I didn't get the chance to privately chat with him.
Four months after that, just before his High School graduation, according to a witness, Jason pulled his car over, parking just before a high bridge, and "casually" walked to the center of that bridge, and jumped over the railing, onto the railroad tracks, far below.
Shortly before that, he'd told his Mom that he was going out to return some video tapes he'd rented.
We'll never really know why he did that, though we all have our own suspicions. One of his school mates brought a yellow rose, to place on his coffin, at his funeral. And, we'd also heard that he was NOT looking forward to living in the dorms at college. Of course, that's all circumstantial, but ... still ...
One of my BIGGEST Regrets is not making an Extra effort to chat with, and come OUT to, Jason, no matter Who was around at the time, when I had the opportunities to do so! Maybe, just MAYBE, that Might have made a difference. Now ... I'll never KNOW.
My point is ... As possibly "Close" as I might have been to Maybe preventing/adverting such a Tragedy, it was not MY Actual RESPONSIBILITY to do so! And, that is in Spite of what I WISH I had done!
SO ... even though it might have made a difference, in Jason's case, Despite ME, had a National Celebrity come OUT, giving him a (possibly) better Example/Mentor, the Obligation was certainly more Mine, rather than someone who never really Knew him!
Whether Aaron is Gay, or not, has NOTHING to do with his PUBLIC Responsibility!
As verified members of the LGBT Community, we should acknowledge, and Respect, that.
WISDOM is the Knowledge you've gained ... After you could have used it! _Me
If you're going to put the blame of responsibility of suicide on fundamentalists spreading their beliefs, then I don't think you should discount the impact that pro-LGBT figures can have. Having closeted celebrities doesn't send the greatest message at all to people struggling with their sexuality--after all, if they're hiding it, clearly there's something wrong right? I respect everyone's right to privacy nor am I saying everyone should just come out but please don't be hypocritical in saying a celebrity coming out means nothing. For every person who says they're broken, a out, proud LGBT figure or ally telling them they're not can be a life saver.

Chris Kluwe article is brave he called out the homophobia in the NFL. Kluwe is a straight ally yet he was subjected to anti gay slurs. The NFL is a very macho homophobic place and anyone who does not follow the script is punished.
i bet he comes out on ellen after the season is over
vacancy3, in your dreams.
If he DOES go on Ellen post-season, he'll pull a Tom Cruise and jump on Ellen's couch, proclaiming his eternal love for Destiny Newton.
I'd LOVE to be proven wrong, but I think he's going to marry a beard.
From Blind Gossip:
Remember how one or more NFL players were rumored to be thisclose to coming out of the closet earlier this year? Well, the situation for one of them just turned ugly! This player, who is one of the sport’s biggest stars, was sure – and then unsure – that he wanted to come out. A lot of the pressure for him to come out was being put on him by his boyfriend. Long story short: Lots of hinting on social media, lots of fighting, the athlete backed out, the couple broke up, and the boyfriend moved out. But it didn’t end there! And we have lots of new information about what is going on behind the scenes! The athlete is now panicking because the ex-boyfriend refuses to go quietly! The ex not only wants back into the relationship…. he still wants the athlete to come out! There is an entire team of lawyers and publicists all over this one, but the usual measures to keep an ex quiet aren’t working with this one. A law suit would make it all public, and a huge payout (we’re talking seven figures) was rejected. Why is the player balking about coming out? There are actually five major reasons:
1. He does not want the notoriety of being the first NFL player to come out. (Although he has privately said that he would be OK coming out if a bunch of other guys did it first)
2. He plays for a team that is not located on one of the coasts, so his team’s fans are much more traditional (read: conservative). He fears being booed both on and off the field.
3. He is concerned that some teammates would not support him off the field and that some might even do something detrimental to him on the field (e.g. not throw a block when they should) that could result in a career-ending injury.
4. He does not want to lose his current endorsement deals.
5. He is a devout Christian, and he fears being ostracized by some members of his family and other members of his faith.
Yes, that sure is a lot of drama packed into one outing! Maybe he could lighten the mood by getting Justin Bieber to photobomb the announcement? Of course, a little victory dance after the announcement would also be awesome!
The Fame Driven has got a NEW explosive article about Aaron Rodgers and Kevin Lanflisi. There are new pics and tweets which definitely indicate further something romantic went on between these two. There is one pic that I find very romantic, Aaron and Kevin are sitting on a beach and Kevin writes in the tweet " no guilt", "no shame". These two are a lot closer than just friends.
This article has some comments about Truth vs. Speculation, and the effects those can have ...

I guess it never occurred to anyone an obviously mentally unstable assistant is doing all of this…doesn't take a PhD in comparative literature to figure it out. He could be gay, yet the way the hens in this thread are reading it is to the point of utter delusion.
Callum: I WILL admit that the storytelling IS coming from Kevin (and the gossip blogs' interpretation of Kevin's posts); however, even taking out Kevin's wording, this doesn't seem to be just a friendship. I wouldn't take my best buddy to all those places, especially considering people think I have a girlfriend!
This is like when George Eads used to take Eric Szmanda everywhere (they're the CSI actors). Then, when people started talking, he had to cover his ass and start dating (and eventually marrying) Monika Casey.

^ I fully understand and see how people think this may be a relationship or something romantic. Yet the person in question has remained silent (for whatever reasons), and all we're getting is his assistant's wording…it's incredibly moot until something legitimate happens.
People stop asking for proof of someone's sexuality. There is no such thing. Being single doesn't prove you're gay anymore than being married or having a girlfriend proves you're straight.
All of the NFL players who have been gay claimed to be straight while they were playing so Aaron's weak ass denial proves nothing. Rodgers is gay, he broke up with his boyfriend, said boyfriend has been paid off, this story goes away once the Packers season is over. Case closed.
Do you think that ESPN radio interview wasn't scripted or that Rodgers comments were not crafted by his publicist?
Rodgers and his people know what they are doing. Unfortunately we aren't hearing Kevin Lanflisi's point of view.
The so called sports reporters and sports media are PROTECTING RODGERS, they all work together they are all connected.
Notice no mainstream news organization has even bothered to hear Kevin Lanflisi's perspective. Regardless of the gay rumours, Kevin LIVED with Aaron for FIVE YEARS that's an incredibly long time to just be a personal assistant. Something happened recently between Kevin and Aaron that is obvious.
The tweets and pics might be from Kevin's twitter BUT we still have not heard from Kevin Lanflisi because Aaron Rodgers, his PR people and the homophobic NFL management do not want gasoline on this fire.
So by keeping Kevin Lanflisi quiet Aaron Rodgers, the NFL and his team of lawyers believe the story is over.
Aaron comes across as a jerk telling ESPN Radio " I am not gay I really really like girls. " Aaron is covering his own ass, but does Aaron say anything about Kevin to protect him? Of course not.
I think your comment is harsh against Kevin Lanflisi he's a young man who clearly had fallen in love with a NFL superstar Aaron Rodgers.
It is interesting you say this yet it is well known Aaron Rodgers, his PR people instructed Kevin Lanflisi and his family to say nothing which I believe is unfair.
If Kevin Lanflisi isn't gay why doesn't he get a chance to speak? The

All, Kevin has to do is a tweet or some interview saying the gay allegations are ludicrous and he's a heterosexual man.
But the SILENCE is what is throwing a lot of people off. A lot of people believe something indeed happened between Aaron and Kevin.
After all, if Aaron and Kevin were just pals, why the silence? A simple interview from Kevin Lanflisi and Aaron Rodgers together would squash this story ASAP. Both men could do an interview together deny they are gay and then end of story.
But Kevin Lanflisi's silence just fuels the fire it comes across as though Aaron Rodgers has something to hide.
You're claiming the media is "protecting Rodgers" yet there's no evidence to prove it. Silence is not protection. Indifference is silence. No one cares what a loon assistant has to say (hence the absolute waste of time this whole conversation is). The "proof" of his sexuality is going to ultimately be Rodgers' own admittance. Whether he chooses to or not is a moot point. That's it: take it or leave it.
A lot of people care about what Kevin Lanflisi has to say on a lot of boards I have visited people ask the same question why is Kevin silent? Kevin's silence is what is fueling the fire. Kevin could easily tweet or do an interview denying the gay rumours but Aaron Rodgers and the NFL want Kevin to remain quiet.
The public still doesn't know why Aaron's long term assistant is suddenly gone and no longer living with him.

A great editorial that speaks about the Aaron Rodgers rumors and their pertinence to gay rights.
lol people let it go
if you keep this up, aaron will fly out of the closet at this rate
Well now that the Packers football season is over . . . they lost a playoff game to the NINERS today! . . . maybe Aaron will "cum out" of the closet during the off season.
Wow! So many Gay men, baying for an outing of someone, who as of yet, has made no declaration of even being Bisexual.
If this was a "gay" closeted man, making homophobic statements or actions, then, yes, there is a point to be made.
At the moment all i see, from across the pond, are the "wolves" circling. For whatever reason.
