I dont know if any of you are watching this on the BBC
Its blooming good stuff. Stephen Fry travels the world seeing how gays live all over the planet. In the first programme he travels to Uganda - possibly the most homophobic country on the planet where they are proposing the death penalty for being gay. There he takes on anally obcessed government officials ("anal sex caused my whopper to fall off") and some real unpleasantly homophobic church leaders
Of course being Fry he does it with avuncular charm
He goes to America where he encounters therapists who can "turn" gay people and gay actors in Hollywood who try to hide it. Not so Neil Patrick Harris who also appears
Well done BBC! for such an excellent programme. Tonights episode he goes to Brazil, India and the big baddie - Russia.
