What's your biggest turn off about a guy?

What turns you off the most about a guy?

For me, I can't stand how so many guys are obsessed with their bodily functions. Burping, peeing, sneezing, coughing, etc. THOSE I can handle and shrug off. But farting and pooping---HUGE TURN OFF. HUGE. I realize it's natural and we ALL do that stuff, but that doesn't make a difference to me personally. You don't NEED to do it around me or tell me about it. I don't want to know. I don't know why I'm so turned off by it, most people aren't phased by that stuff but I am for some reason. I almost always lose interest in a guy whenever so much as makes a joke about it. Like for example, Freddie Prinze Jr. I had the biggest crush on him when I was younger and he was still an actor (not a very good one I must admit). Then I saw a certain scene in a movie he starred in called "Head Over Heels" where his character sits down on the toilet and takes a huge dump, it was all fake of course but still...my raging boner for Mr. Prinze shriveled up and died a sad, slow, and painful death. Ick! I also can't stand guys who have nasty personalities, who go out of your way to make you feel crappy about something if you make a mistake, who judge you mercilessly and all around treat you like crap and look down their noses at you.

My biggest turn off about a guy has to be long fingernails, I don't know why, I just find long fingernails on men to be creepy and too effeminate for my liking.

Well cshields I think you are kinda looking down your nose at others for having natural body functions like farting, we all do it and it is quite normal so I think you should get over those things and stop being judgemental. What is bad however is when i a guy doesnt clean up properly after having a good shit. That turns me off because it is doable.

Smoking, don't mind it with a one night stand, but longterm, no way.

It's so much about looking down my nose at people, it's about just people acting decently around others and having manners. If it comes off that I'm looking down my nose at people and coming off as a hypocritical snob, so be it. I already pointed out that I acknowledged that it was a perfectly normal thing for people to fart and poop. What I'm saying is that just because it's natural doesn't mean we need to do it out loud around others or run and tell everyone about what they just did in the toilet. Most people (mostly men) are so upfront about that information, and it's really disgusting.

*sighs* I just knew I was gonna get grief about this...

Sometimes farting just happens. One tries to hold it in, but is unsuccessful. It shouldn't be the end of the world and most people are mortified when they fart in public. I'm sure you can explain to your guy that you don't find that kind of thing funny and would rather that he not engage in that kind of humor with you. Honoring your request should not be the end of the world for him either.

As far as the other part goes, I think that you are well within your rights to not want to hear about it. I find that TV and music help cover up any bathroom sounds that you don't want to hear.

Basically, not being a nice good person. A bad character ruins everything.

    Lack of self control
    Self destructiveness
Americans need to keep their guns so they can protect themselves from gun violence just like Nancy Lanza did. And like Chris Kyle did. And like Gabby Giffords did. And like Tom Clements did. And like Michael Piemonte. And Joseph Wilcox.

The delivery of the Op was a bit off but he has a point about farting (and I'd add demonstrative burping) which are completely unacceptable in the rest of the civilized world but seem to be a point of pride in North America...

My turn offs vary from guy to guy. I have many types but in general being overweight doesn't do it for me. Also - mustaches... Those are of satan.

Lol I totally look down my nose at people who do that. Not feeling guilty about it either. Having manners is not snobbish, just considerate.
