This article was on the front page of the L.A. Times. It is about Jonathan Knight, 25-year old man who recently graduated with a Masters' degree in public policy & public administration and he wants to work as a legislative analyst. He previously interned (as a student) in Washington DC, in the office of Republican senator John Barrasso (representing Wyoming).
The article does not say if Jonathan is a Republican, but I'm pretty sure he is, as he interned in a Republican senator's office. He is also from Orange County, California, (like me), which is a very Republican area.
He's been looking for a job for about 3 months, and he recently started dressing up with a shirt and a tie & handing out his resume to people in their cars as they exit the major freeways of L.A.
Here he is handing out his resume (with a home-made sign) on Wilshire Boulevard near the 405 freeway.
I have to say that this was a pretty genius move on his behalf. He knew at some point, a newspaper editor or TV news station would interview him and give him free publicity. He basically got the LA Times to tell his story on their front page to millions of people.
On a side note, he is sooo cute There are so many hot white masculine guys just like him in Orange County. It can be so distracting sometimes with all the eye candy.....
