I'm a smoker, and I always smoke Pall Mall Reds, king size. I also smoke the odd cigar here and there. I just finished a nice Cuban about an hour ago.
I hope that when the world comes to an end, I can breathe a sigh of relief, because there will be so much to look forward to.

    I have never smoked.
My dad is a smoker, but he has cut back quite a bit over the years. And he does what he wants at age 82. And he lives on his own.
I never smoked anything, tobacco, marijuana, or any substance.
    It never appealed to me.
Back in the 1970s, I saw an anti-smoking film at school, and seeing a guy with the tracheotomy hole in his throat and no voice box left a strong impression on me. It frightened the hell out of me.
My ex-boyfriend, Dave is a smoker. He used to smoke outside. But he was always respectful of me.

I do not smoke, not because it makes me somehow better than those that do, but because I've tried weed twice before and it does absolutely nothing for me, and while I love hanging with smokers, I've ALWAYS had the rule that no one is allowed to smoke in my room.

Yeah I smoke sometimes, mainly just if I am writing more than anything as I find the action of smoking helps focus my mind. I also sometimes smoke a hookah in bars that allow it.
I have pretty much stopped smoking weed these days, just a couple of times a month now. But its legal here, and I don't tend to buy I just smoke a bit if someone hands it to me. I use to smoke weed with this blue lotus most of the time as it was always way cheaper and was pretty nice to smoke, so there was a time in my life where I mainly smoked that.
I have smoked DMT in the past and really loved it and will do it again when the time is right.
Plenty of my friends have smoked crack, crystal and heroin in the past and I am not opposed to trying them once, again if the moment is right.

Cigarettes. I change brands every three months or so.

    Good Day-2 a day
    Bad Day-Half a pack.

I smoke weed only with friends and family. That's it. I don't smoke by myself. That's a little depressing if you ask me.

Plus I find marijuana to be redundant if you are a chain smoker. Pick one or the other.

I don't use tobacco any more. I smoked Camel straights as a youth, the army changed that, you can't run 10K every morning without lung strength.
But I do enjoy a bit of marijuana. Nothing more enjoyable than sitting at the end of my dock, bowl in one hand, pole (fishing)in the other and a Guinness at my side. Don't really care if I catch a fish or not, I'm not gonna' eat it. I'm just there for the fishing, not the catching.

    Re: Smoking poll

I have struggled back and forth with smoking. While some say they grew up with it and over flowing ashtrays were disgusting, my Mom actually cleaned house and I never saw that. So I associate the smell of strong coffee and tobacco with my home when i was growing up.

I agree you cannot run marathons and keep puffing. Unless we are talking marathon bar hopping and then smoking is obligatory. I suppose it depends on my circumstance. I also do not smoke MJ these days because the job actually drug test. Once I secure a job that test oinly when you come in the door to get hired I may add that to my vices. But only in a medical or legal state.

Finally, there is nothing in the world like Cuban tobacco. Which i cannot acquire here because of our silly ass embargo but overseas, particularly the middle east, I have enjoyed many a romeo y juliet and they are magnificent. Add a nice 18 year scotch and life is perfectly happy... and a bit numb. lol Of course you dont really smoke cigars but you do a little. Also while I love a good smoky scotch with a cuban; the situation that almost trumps the hell out of it is sitting on the bridge wing of a carrier, ten stories above the ocean, puffing a fine crafted cigar and watching the full moon while you break through waves smaller than the ship on a mighty ocean.

I tried cigarettes for about a week. I never really got into it and stopped. Every once in a while (probably three times a year) I'll smoke a wine flavored Black & Mild when I'm hanging out with my cousins--who pretty much depend on cigarettes--but other than that I never smoke.

Very occasionally I have shared a joint with a friend but I honestly can't remember the last time I did, it was so long ago.
I am astonished how many guys still smoke, esp. young men who've taken it up. Photos of hot guys on this site smoking definitely make them "less hot" for me.

Weed, but only once every two or three years (in the amount of what is traditionally called a dime bag). I don't know anyone who sells it, and don't have a "drug dealer on speed dial", to quote a lyric from Nickelback. However, if a hot guy at work has some, then I will approach him.

My stepdad smokes and I've gotten bombarded with second-hand smoke ever since he moved in with the fam...so I am familiar with the stench. That's the closest to smoking I'll ever get.

My Dad served in the military and fought bravely for his country for many years.Aboard a navel ship, his appendix burst and he almost died.He also worked many years as a carpenter for a school system for a steady wage to support a wife and 8 children. He had the talent and ability to have a very lucrative construction business, but it never seemed about the money for him.He would hang doors and windows, almost by eye, without a measure.I can remember him getting up at 4:30-5am every morning to be in work 30 minutes away at 6am. He would return home in the afternoon, around 4:30-5pm every day.A long work day.He was always covered in sawdust.

After a quick dinner,he would go into his garage and fix cars for relatives and neighbors who couldnt afford to take their vehicles to a mechanic.Sometmes till after midnight. Both my Mom and Dad took in and legally adopted 3 of my cousins(for almost a year) during a tough economic times for their parents.I remember my Dad paying my rent or car insurance when I was out of work. Both my Mom and Dad always had a care package when they would visit someone..He lived untill he was 85 years old.And in that 85 years,he did more work and more good on planet earth than a 100 men today.

    He was a smoker.

Both my parents were chain smokers before I was born...yes independently verified. They both quit cold turkey when I was born...this was in the 50s, long before quiting was the thing to do.

I tried smoking cigs in high school but hated it. My Cousins husband worked on the railroad when I was growing up and was a 2 1/2 to 3 pack a day smoker. When I was 12, he was diagnosed with lung cancer. I watched them remove all of his lungs but 1/4 of one. Seeing what he went through turned me off smoking forever. What amazed me then and now is his grandkids, who were around him all the time, smoked, even after seeing what he went through.

My first love smoked and after we broke up, I promised myself I would never ever date anyone who smoked again. Thats a promise I have kept for over 40 years.

I occasionally take secondhand herbal smoke, but I will smoke nothing directly -- nor will I date anyone who does.

IMHO, those who smoke demonstrate thereby that they have miniscule to no respect for their fellow human beings, unless they smoke entirely in private, then shower and change to clean clothes before interacting with others.

"Thirty-one* states allow all qualified citizens to carry concealed weapons. In those states, homosexuals should embark on organized efforts to become comfortable with guns, learn to use them safely and carry them. They should set up Pink Pistols task forces, sponsor shooting courses and help homosexuals get licensed to carry. And they should do it in a way that gets as much publicity as possible. "

Add me to the list of people with parents (in my case, my mom) who smoked when I was little, so I grew up hating it. My friend that I housekeep for, he smokes, and his girlfriend hates it, but he does it only outside or in his Scion, with all the windows rolled down. But I solemnly swear that I will never ever date anyone who smokes. It's not just a deal-breaker, it's a non-starter for me.

Cock only. I just don't like the idea of setting something alight and breathing the smoke. I dislike smokers (or tobacco and pot) mainly for the heavy smell, but otherwise I have no issue with it. Truthfully, it seems my pot-smoking friends are trying to reach a place that I inhabit most of the time without it, so I'm totally cool with them making the attempt (and with me skipping it).

I've seen plenty of really old people who live good lives. But I've seen more who live lives of decrepitude, frustration, loneliness, confusion, anger and suffering. I think smoking can help fix the odds in your favor, and offers a pleasurable way of doing so.

Now that it is becoming more and more legal across the US, I imagine edibles will become the rage because of that heavy smell reason and because the high is better.

Most astonishing aspect of this poll? Almost 55% (at this point) of the respondents, who are presumably gay, do not suck cock.... weird.

Because how the hell can you smoke a damn penis? I have never heard of that.

I suck and get fucked by penises though. :P

No I love my cigarettes and I don't plan on quitting. To quote Macaulay Culkin, we are all gonna die anyways.

It's an expression.....to "smoke" a penis. It was an attempt to put some homour in an otherwise serious subject.

BTW...cost of cigs may well accelerate trend away from smoking:

20 bucks a pack will get more to quit. 100 bucks a pack would mean almost everyone would quit. Australia has apparently unlimited excise taxing authority on such goods...
