Change in Sex Drive at 22?

Ok, so for the past month or so I have noticed that my sex drive has decreased a fair amount. I'm just not as "sexually engaged" as I use to be. I am not horny all the time anymore. Has anybody else experienced this?

It is within your control, and probably will be, even late in your life. When you stimulate it, it will be there. If you are focused on other things, your libido will be less strong. You have no reason to be concerned, it is there waiting for you to wake it up when you wish.

Re: Change in Sex Drive at 22?

I have noticed a change in my sleep habits. I have a tougher time falling asleep and I wake up more at night. I never woke up in the middle of the night before. It's possible that it's stress related...

quality of sleep can be many things. do you have access to healthcare?

you may want to see a doctor, i probably would, if it were an alarming decline in your sex drive.

in the mean time have good sleep hygene, meaning don't watch tv or play on the computer in bed. don't leave the lights on when you sleep. no loud sounds or smells should be interrupting your sleep.

you could have sleep apnea and that should be a concern because you are waking up in the middle of the night.

but you also have signs of depression, stress will bring on depression. regular healthy diet, exercise, sunshine, no smoking etc.

a body can only tolerate so much stress until it starts affecting you. for some people it doesn't take much stress to completely upset your body's balance. make changes but do it gradually. keep us updated on your progress.

Stressed about school/work/moving? I've had friends who had that decrease their libido. I know when I'm focused and stressed, the last thing I want is to get off
